Romantic Suspense | Can stand alone

If you’re looking for a book with a super protective hero that will STEAL YOUR HEART, then you will WANT to meet Jax and Willow in Conceal. This book was GOOD. I devoured it the second it hit my kindle and didn’t stop reading until the last page. It’s romantic suspense goodness with EXCELLENT characters and a love story that will make you swoon! Honestly, it’s been a while since a hero captured my

I would have liked this story more if Willow’s secret didn’t take so many pages to be revealed. The story behind hiding her identity had quite a few holes that made it hard to believe.
It was suspenseful, with a couple of great twists and turns, dual pov, slow burn.

5 Black Sheep CROWNS

Jaxson has been the black sheep among his family since the beginning of this standalone series. Never one to take life seriously, be entrenched in the family business, Jax has lived in the world of dark net, being the silent and underappreciated sibling,

Jax's character is just as flawed and broken as the heroine; his brokenness just comes in a different form and from a less severe source. His family structure, especially the relationship we

What an amazing story to read. Once I started reading I couldn’t stop. I was enthralled by these characters and their story. The suspense is real and will keep you turning the page wanting to know what happened. The sexual tension is palpable and the buildup is pure perfection, it makes that first kiss explosive. And of course, once they give in to those feelings it’s hard to ever imagine them fighting it. The banter between them is brilliant and balances the suspense fantastically.

An absolutely gripping story. I could not put this book down, and as a matter of fact devoured in a few hours. Ava Harrison is a master storyteller that just draws you in no matter what. I really enjoyed Jax and Willow's story, and I have waited patiently for it. Like with all Ms. Harrison's books there is bound to be twists and turns. This book is no exception.

“The devil came out to play, bargaining lives for a price, sending those to hell who crossed him.”

I was so excited to find out more about Jaxson Price after reading his older brother’s (Grayson) story in Entice. Well, even though Grayson does remain my favourite, I still really enjoyed Jaxson and Willow ’s story. Without giving too much away, Willow is literally running for her life when she meets Jaxson. They are both broken in their own way which makes them quite

Ava Harrison has become one of my favorite authors. i love her characters, i love they are not perfect, that their love stories are not instant - they take time and they learn to appreciate and accept each other for what they are and i love that in this stand alone series, each book has his own niche - for example - Entice had taboo in it and in Conceal we have suspense.

Jaxon has his own issues. he is not that carefree -don't care about nobody but himself- don't like to make an effort - that

Willow is on the run when she meets Jaxson (Jax) Price. He's a charming billionaire, elite of the elite and she is just a woman on the run. But Jax sees the true Willow and he's hooked. And why shouldn't he be? She's amazing - strong, smart, and independent. There's something about her that ignites Jax's protective instincts, and he vows to help her. In the end, though he did indeed help her, Willow saved herself and I love that about her. I think she's my favorite Ava heroine to date, just as

A dreamy swoony suspenseful romance.

I’m rounding up to 5 stars because I was so soft for Jaxson and Willow. They have this gentle way about their love.

I think there’s an underlying theme of being careful when someone you know or love has been a victim of abuse. Willow had walls around her that were thicker than steel. Her fear ruled her life and escaping the source of it was probably the only reason she survived.

I enjoyed that she connected with an old friend in Maggie. I felt that was really

5 Star Review Conceal by Ava Harrison
Conceal is a well written story that blew me away. It was a wonderful book to read and Ava Harrison held me captive from the first to the last page as she wove her story.
Jaxson Price is my new book boyfriend, he ticked all the boxes for me; totally swoon worthy. I loved his brother Grayson, but oh boy Jax surpasses him. Willow in my opinion was the perfect woman for Jax, they really are two halves of a whole. I loved how strong and determined she is.

I can't lie. At the beginning of this book, I struggled a little with it. I didn't really feel engaged in it until about 20% in, and I connected with Willow before I texted with Jaxson. It's a slow burn, friends to lovers, but I wasn't really feeling the connection between them. I did, however, believe in the genuineness of the friendship. And, well, by the end of the book, the importance of the beginning, of them having the friendship and genuinely liking one

Conceal is Jax’s story and it’s a swoon worthy story of fighting for love. I was surprised by Jaxson. I really loved his story of finding love with Willow. Ava’s writes a story of love that unfolds with patient, trust, understanding, and passion. To me it’s a classic romantic tale of taking chances and discovering who you are. Jaxson and Willow grow in so many ways while discovering themselves and that is what captured me to them. It spoke to my romantic heart. It was bittersweet when their ...more

Conceal is my most favorite Ava Harrison story till date. She brought a new level of complexity and depth in the characters and the story line in Conceal. And I have never read something this captivating, heartaching, layered and sensational from her. The characters are imperfectly perfect. The story line kept me glued to the pages. And the emotions captured my heart completely.

I think Conceal might have just bypassed Entice as my favorite Ava novel. Her words capture you from the first moment and keep you entranced throughout. I’ve really enjoyed this series and couldn’t wait to jump into Jaxson’s story.

We start with Jax being called to his brothers' house, something he doesn’t particularly want to do as there is some tension between them. Grayson is the older brother but doesn’t hold must trust in him, something Jax doesn’t understand why and he’s always around helping him. Grayson wants to employ someone to help Jax, but the strong character he is, he tells Grayson that he will step up and show him he can manage.

Conceal was my first Ava Harrison book and I loved it! Her writing really draws you into the story and the twists and turns kept me guessing throughout. You are thrown into the action right from the start and it gripped me all the way through!

Ava Harrison always knows what I want to hear. A good love story, amazing characters, some intense suspense and she has a winner again! Willow is on the run, and finds her elementary school friend Maggie to bunk with until she finds a safe place to hide. Willow fills in for her as a waitress at a private poker party where she meets Jax, and our story begins. This slow burn has all the feels. Jaxson is sweet, patient and the kind of hero I love. After reading (or rather practically devouring) Grayson Price's story in 'Entice' I was excited to find out more about Jaxson Price, Grayson's mysterious younger brother. But sadly, this story really didn't intrigue me like Entice did and I really had high hopes going into this story.

Jaxson Price is a mysterious character, secretive about his life to everyone, even his family. His need to prove his worth to his judgemental older brother Grayson is his Achilles heel that turns him from a

I have throughly enjoyed all of Ms. Harrison’s previous books.
I adorned her heroes and admired her heroines.
But Conceal wins the prize.
My absolute favorite thus far.
I loved Jaxson.
He’s not is a what you see is what you get.
It’s more complicated than that.
Jaxson isn’t taken seriously by his siblings.
So outwardly he plays into their limited expectations of him.
But he is so much more than their perceptions.
He plays the happy go lucky well.
But in his heart he is hurt and sad.
The relationship he has
