The blurb writer should find a new day job... this sounds kick-ass right?
Too bad most of it is about chakras, meditation, and the usual self-help stuff.
Where are my tips on being an alpha versus a bitch? I don’t think there is a single one; except maybe, to support your fellow women and stop competing.

What a huge disappointment. If you want a good, snarky, no nonsense self-help just go grab the ever popular The Art of Not Giving a F***.

Please note: I received an eARC of this book from the pu

My inner feminist is chanting "Five! Five! Five!", while the part of my brain that contemplates honest ratings and reviews is like "....but is it?" And sadly, no, I don't feel it's a 5 star read.

First off, I will say the title is incredibly catchy. It immediately caught my attention when I was scrolling for books to review. The cover isnt showy, but it is very pretty and would catch my attention if I were browsing at a book store.

The book does have some great takeaways. It encourages readers t

We all need reminders about our worth, about the effort needed to live from our potential. This book is a sisterly reminder, a nudge to make our voices heard, encouragement toward our efforts that make a difference. Read it a few pages at a time. Let its lessons sink in. Use this book to celebrate your journey of female empowerment. Then share it with a sister.

Wow! Seo has been able to succintly bring in all the layers of the Alpha Female in her book Don't Be a B*tch, Be an Alpha. I read each section and felt validated in my own experiences of moving from B*tch to Alpha Female. I hadn't realized this is what I was doing until Seo put the steps together in this book.

Of course this is a journey, so while this was a quick read it is more like a guide book for the rest of my journey towards really aligning with the Alpha Female. As I noted before, no laye

Such an easy read, and just like getting great advice and motivation from a terrific, smart, insightful friend. I love it for myself, and love it as a gift- perfect to give to someone who is struggling, but perfect too for someone who just wants to be the best, most authentic "them" they can be! ...more

Recommends it for: all women.
This charming guidebook to introduce spirituality to contemporary women is written in a smart and witty conversational tone from the author and feels like a casual hang out with your girlfriend or sister. It covers how to develop your intuition, chakras, manifesting, overcoming fear, and self care tips to "unlock your magic, play big and change the world." As a 40 something woman who was introduced to law of attraction and manifestation in her 30s, I wish I had a guide like this in my 20s or 30s ...more

Motivational book about physical and mental wellbeing for women who are strong leaders. Interesting enough that women leaders are perceived bossy and it is indeed the fact that strong women may have conflicts. Absolutely loved the first illustration that shows the difference between alpha women and bitches.

I won “Don’t Be a B*tch, Be an Alpha” in a giveaway, a slim how-to meets self-help book that guides women in harnessing their alpha power. This book reads like a survey course, giving an overview that best translates to readers already versed in meditation, mantra, yoga, and manifestation. Readers not familiar with these tools may not quite grasp how they work, and may need a little more info to start practicing and get the most out of their benefits. That said, I took a lot out of this little b ...more

If you are the type of person who believes strongly in chakras; energies; and meditation - This book is for you.

If, like me, you are not that type of person - You will not enjoy this book. It will actually read similar to the pep talk your drunken twenty something friends gave you at the bar after your first heartbreak. They made no sense then - and this book makes no sense now.

That said - regardless of which person you are - you will, at the very very least, walk away with some great new mantr

A truly magical book that I can’t recommend enough and will return to it because there is so much wisdom, compassion, and humor! I so appreciated how real SEO is and the voice with which she writes. What sets this book apart from many others in this genre is that it seeks not only to empower the reader but invites her to be part of a larger collective and experience the power of sisterhood.

Don’t just read it but truly attend to it. do the exercises. Return to them. gift it to other women and ev

Love this quick yet powerful read. This book would be great for a recent high school or college grad or any woman going through a life transition. I'd love to see this followed up with a workbook or journal with reflective prompts to help woman apply the wisdom to themselves and to help women make sense of their own experiences. ...more

Wouldn't it be wonderful for more women to feel safe to be their authentic self and to be surrounded by other women who were also authentic, supportive, and inspiring?

This thought led to Seo writing and publishing her debut book, "Don't Be a B*tch, Be an Alpha." Seo wanted to share and encourage more women with wisdom, magic, and healing that were occuring inside her circle, Alpha Female Sisterhoo
