This book is so good and touched my heart in so many ways. I cant imagine how Trevor felt when he was blind sided by Davina when she brings a small baby to his office telling him it was his son. What is a bachelor that goes overseas working to free individuals held by terrorists going to do with a baby? I felt so bad for Davina since she had been watching Devon since her best friend died giving birth to him. I cant imagine grieving over her best friends death, taking care of a newborn and then ...more

From the beginning of the book to the end you can feel the emotion of the characters. Trevor is used to missions overseas but isn't anywhere near ready for this mission he has to face now. Davina is exhausted from taking care of a newborn and grieving the loss of her best friend, Trevor isn't used to caring for a baby and Lexi enjoys helping out with the baby.

Davina wants to hate Trevor but the more she gets to know him she knows that she can't. It is a really good book that I think you will

Devina and Trevor's love story is like a lightning bolt; once they collided it was fast , powerful and left a mark behind ! Two single souls that wouldn't have met unless Fate played a role in both their lives. A beautiful lonely heartbroken woman mourning her best friend and a hard working man with no time to spare on a relationship that gets an unexpected gift from life. They form an unlikely pair that will stop at nothing for a common goal; making baby Devon happy.

This is the second book in the series and Trevor's story. We met him a bit in the first book and good friends with Alex. Trevor doesn't come off as dad material, but he's going to earn that role pretty fast. This book does have a little bit of a sad tone. This book broke my heart, but put it back together. Trevor and Davina are brought together by tragedy, but a friendship is about to blossom. They navigate a future they never thought could be possible. There was a moment in this book that had ...more

He is in the office working when Davina Daniels walks in and tells him there is his son. He knows he don't know her, he takes in the conference room to talk. Davina 's best friend is the mother. Trevor might be my most favorite character of them all! Seriously, he is charming and sweet but also kind of an emoitional mess and yet 100% sure of himself and his instincts. LOL He's so great.
This story is a much more emotional one thta deals with loss, love and new beginnings, facing the unknown, letting go of the past, and trusting yourself. I loved it. It has all the things you need, great characters, a supporting cast, a good setting, subtle twists and real human emotion. So good, you

Surprise baby causes this couple to come together and help each other!! Many twists and turns for this couple that cause them not to be able to nail down this relationship!! I really enjoyed this book and enjoyed getting an update from Alex and Lexi's life!! Stacy writes a great book that is extremely hard to put down once you get fully amerced!! Love the way you get the point of view of each chapter of Trevor than Davina!! Love that you can understand where they both are feeling in each ...more

Unexpected circumstances

When Davina shows up at Trevors work with a baby , he is adamant that he is not the father. That is until he reads the letter from the deceased mother, who was Davina's best friend. While trying to get to know his son Trevor falls in love with Sabina but unforseen circumstances threaten their happiness. Such a beautiful story of true love and it's complications.

Oh this is one of my favorite tropes. Trevor is totally caught off guard when Davina walks into his office holding Devon, the child he never knew about. Through learning how to care for Devon, Trevor becomes closer to Davina. So much so that he thinks he may be falling for her. Dang! This book made me laugh and tear up a bit. I may have wanted to knock them both upside the head to figure out how to make a relationship work. I cant wait for more. ...more

This is the second book in The Unexpected Series and one that really caught my attention quickly from the start. Trevor works overs mainly overseas and because he does he doesn't plan to have a family. But it looks like fate night have other ideas and they show up at his office on a rainy thunder filed day in the form of a tied but beautiful young lady named Davina carrying a baby. Only problem is he swears he has never seen her before in his life so how can this baby be his? This book was well ...more

Trevor enjoys his job training and traveling oversees. He does not see a family in his future until it shows up at his office. Davina lost her best friend and blames Trevor. She is completely against liking him in any way. A cute read with Trevor trying to figure out this new addition he never expected.

What happens when you love your life, your job, and your women and life decides to drop the ultimate bomb in your lap in the form of a baby? A great read to find out how the ultimate bachelor handles or doesn't handle it!

I always enjoy a single parent or surprise baby read, and this one does not disappoint. There are some sad moments, but the humour more than makes up for it. A slow burning romance with a cute baby...what more could you want? Thoroughly enjoyed it.

This is a good continuation to the story. I really liked Trevor and his friends. Davina was a little harder to like although she grew on me as the story progressed.
