If you need ten year old definitions and maps, this is hands-down the best manual around. This book is a lot like Urban Dictionary, but more boring and less swearing! Between the standard fare of dictionary definitions and thesaurus synonyms, it has maps of various world bits in full color. IN FULL COLOR! How awesome is that? No partial color, grayscale, or (gasp) lineart only for these maps, no sir.

Long story short: definition business in the front, synonym party in the back.

didn't read the entire dictionary but had a great time jotting down vocabulary words and definition to adjust my grammar a bit, still using this every chance I get. I bought it this year a couple months back.

My copy of this book is falling apart and filled with highlights, underlines, and notes. Really got me through a tough time in high school, and will always have a very special place in my heart.

An odd book to have yes, but a book I use quite frequently. I have yet to read it all(a personal goal) but in time I will.

Super version of hardcopy of this dictionary. This convenient medium enables more frequent use of a well-established resource. Very helpful.
