I jumped into the Areios Brothers series with Fury of the Gods, the third book. I know most people don’t do that, but when something about the description intrigues me, I have no trouble starting in the middle of a series. If I like what I read, I catch up on the books I missed. To give a hint of my reaction, I already purchased the first two books and added them to my TBR pile.

Fury of the Gods starts out with Derek fighting monsters and the battles continue through out the book. It is told from both Liam and Derek’s points of views. Liam and Derek are brothers who are both under the rule of the Olympians. Derek has been forced into hiding. The Gods send monsters after Derek that they fear themselves. Liam and Derek are still looking for the Mind of Cronus.

I should have started with book one to better understand who is who and what is going on. That being said fan of supernatural mixed with Greek Mythology will love the Areios Brothers Series. Again start with book 1 Otherwise you will be confused jumping in midway.

I sometimes lost track of whose action we were seeing as the chapters are divided between Liam and Derek, and they sometimes seemed a little too similar. However, every
