I was provided an ARC of this book through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

All Of Matt's Treasures is an uplifting and positive picture book for a bit older children about embracing mistakes as a part of growth. It follows Matt who has a bad dream about failing and telling his mum about it, she helps him understand that he is loved just because he is himself and how his so called mistakes are a natural part of the road of learning.

I liked how warm the story felt, I think it's a gre

A sweet read for an older child

This colorful story tells a child how their parents still love them if they make a mistake and that's an important lesson for the kids to learn. There are a lot of big words in this book that might need to be explained or read differently. But I like the phrase if you do that, it means you just haven't learned that yet. And your heart might Mean well, even though your body can't do it. And that's an important lesson for children to learn. I could see this being rea

I received this ebook from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Matt goes to sleep and dreams of people talking about him. His mom comes in and holds him and says how much he means to her and how much love is within his heart. She tells him that he will learn to master his feelings and not let them get to him so much. She tells him that mistakes happen and that people will forgive him and that if life gets cloudy and he can't find his way, she will be there.

I personally was not a fan of

Even as an adult I struggle with the fact that I'm not perfect and make mistakes. I want to be able to teach my son that it's okay to make mistakes its a part of personal growth and we can learn from them. We dont always plan for negative things to happen when we are trying to do something positive it's just a part of life. I can't wait until he is old enough for this book and I can use it to teach him this concept. Once again such a wonderful book/teaching tool.

The illustrations are bright and nicely made. The message of looking into your heart and try your best and don't worry about mistakes, they happen and you learn from them, was right too.
Thing to consider: spelling and grammar mistakes but I had an ARC, so hopefully these get sorted. One thing could make it problematic: in a world with lots of single parents is it a problem when books show a happy family with mum and dad?

I had my daughter read this story with me, as I have with other Madeleine Matthews books.

With her being 6 and just starting to read I was impressed that she was able to read through and understand the moral of this story.
She gets excited when she sees different books like these that help her kind of understand her thought processes and understand a bit more about herself.

Sweet bedtime story.

Very kind and conventional story. Finding one's guiding light is so important. Drive without purpose isn't going to ever bring true fulfillment. May each of us guide by that light. Without to many mistakes along the way is easier.

Another amazing book that helps children without them really knowing that they are learning from it. I can easily cuddle up on the couch with my kids and read this to them and they enjoy it as well as learn how to handle themselves better day to day. I highly recommend this book.
