“Blood is destiny” or is it?
“The only time that matters is now. The only place that matters is here. Because in this place called here and now I’ve found my always, found my forever, chosen my destiny.” Just a sample of the beauty of this narrative. My favorite quote from this book.
I love these short steamy books with insta-lust turns to love and insta-awareness thrown in for good measure. In this one Bell is somehow propelled to her destiny which appears to be beyond her control. When she first

I was given this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Bellanca "Bell" and Brakos. Bell is leaving her little apartment to go to a greek wedding. So she thinks nothing of it when she finds 2 ubers outside waiting. She gets in the one with the 2 men that look like they should be a on a set from men in black. It takes her a bit but she realizes somethings not right. WoW This is one magical read.
I was totally lost to this story from the very first chapter. I just didnt know where it was going but boy! did I want to know.
Bell got in the back of her uber to only feel something wasn't right. why were there two drivers and why did they look like bodyguards. When questioned I think there's been a mistake? They said they dont make mistakes. But something stops Bell from ringing for

Annabelle Winters takes on quite the ride in Given to the Groom. All the insta-love steam is there, but so is a sort of dark, twisted reality.

Bellanca, aka Bell, is an unassuming small town curvaceous woman who was raised by her Greek grandmother in middle America. Grandma was not all that Bell thought, and neither is the wedding she is attending. Brakos is a king in his own mind and seems to live up to his own legend. A self-made man, he seeks a partner in life through an arranged marriage. He

I received this book as a gift of an advanced read copy. Having read it I would like to give an honest opinion of what I have read.

If you are a person that is bothered by strong language, and very descriptive sexual situations this is definitely not the book to read. It does make up a good portion of the story line. I will say though that the plot of the story was very good. I like how it was presented as a puzzle. Who murdered her parents was it Brusco that had call in a hit on them. Was she

I enjoyed this story. It was interesting and mafia lite with romance. The characters were good, frustrating at times but also funny/snarky.

Bell (Bellanca) is on her way to her friend's wedding. But she doesn't end up at her friend's wedding instead, she ends up at a wedding where she doesn't know anyone. Bell realizes it's the wrong wedding but before she knows it someone hands her flowers. All of a sudden she realizes that the wedding is hers and she's the bride.

There are lots of twists and

She is a Greek Mafia Princess who doesn't know it until ther Greek Mafia Prince claims her

Given to the Groom was a book that I had a hard time finishing. I thought the beginning was interesting but it quickly took a turn into a whole fantasy type thing that I just found myself being less and less interested in as I read more of the story. I think it may have to do with the completely way, way, way OTT (as in it jumped the shark) story-line and what I found ridiculous characters that became more

This story was intense as well as romantic. Belle absolutely didn't know what she was getting into once she go into that car to go to a wedding. That wedding being hers....arranged by her dead grandmother. She is marrying Brakos a Greek mafia don who gets what he wants...and he wants Belle. I love Brakos...he is in your face, no holds barred, and the epitome of the alpha male. He didn't mean to fall in love with his curvy wife but who can deny fate. After their steamy get together after they got ...more

Wow what a fantastic story it’s about Bellanca (Bell) who gets into a car thinking that it’s her Uber but there are two buff men with sunglasses on sitting in the front, she is in her way to a wedding but instead she thinks that it’s a case of mistaken identity because the groom standing at the end says that he knows her and she is to be his wife then Bell faints. This is one very interesting over the top insta love story about Bellanca, Bell who believes she is heading to a friends wedding and ends up a bride her unknown groom, Brankos who is from Greece to claim the bride he was given by Bell’s grandmother. A short whimsically dark mafia romance with Bellanca and Brakos. All orchestrated by her deceased grandmother as Bell is swept up into a world of violence and intrigue as she marries a stranger in a trance like state.
I liked the way Brakos started out as cold and unmoved as he vowed to himself to keep the marriage as a business contract only. His intense visceral reaction to her that started with her scent, was unique and erotic in nature.
Their mutual attraction and chemistry lit up the pages

Original while sometimes it's a little too much
Short romance that is very steamy, well written, with an original script, even if sometimes some descriptions are just too much.
Bellanca is abducted one evening and married to Brakos, a godfather of the Greek mafia in the process, without her understanding anything about it. She then discovers the supposed past of her family and which led to this situation in front of this powerful and domineering man who did not even think of touching her at first.

Not your ordinary Mafia story
I don’t know how she does it, but Ms. Winters can write a really good and captivating book in any length. Bell and Brakos are the main characters in this one, and as you can tell Brakos is Greek. He is also part of the Greek mafia; however, this is not integral to the story but serves to reflect the real hardness of the man. Just for good measure she throws in a little of the supernatural at just the right time.

I received a free copy of the steamy novella Given to the Groom: Curvy for Keeps Series by Annabelle Winters and this review was given freely.
Dark, twisted, and steamy. A surprise arranged Mafia marriage of convenience and a power struggle that backfires.
Bell learns that her recently deceased grandmother's ramblings concerning the Greek Mafia are true when she finds herself suddenly at her own wedding to Brakos ,the head of the Greek Mafia who wishes to expand into the US.
18+ recommended.

I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest!
This was a great book !
All she did was get into an Uber.
Now, Bellanca is standing at the altar about to be married.
When did this happen ?
Is this a dream or is Bellanca really getting married ?
You will have to read the book to find out what happened next.
Loved the characters + the storytelling !
It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book!
I can't wait for the next book in this series.

Was it really the wrong wedding?? I don't think so. Destiny and fate have a way of putting you where you are meant to be. This was such a surprising story, It started out like he was going to make her his wife in name only until he smells her walking up the aisle to his side. One glance, one tough and he was lost. Bell doesn't believe what just happened. But there is something there in the way her body reacts to Bracos and that "blood is destiny." I hope there are more of stories like Bracos. ...more

I love Annabelle Winters' stories, they are quick, intense and fate has a strong hand in the characters' adventure.

Bellanca and Brakos come from different backgrounds, without knowing their families history have crossed paths. Blood is destiny and when the truth comes out they decide on where they want to go and when they do there is no stopping them.

Be careful you will find it hard to put this story down.

She gets to the wedding & she is in shock as she is actually the Bride. She is at her own Wedding1 Shocked that she is getting married. Married to Barkos a Greek Mafia Man. Once this arranged Marriage takes place she passes out & things go crazy from there. Now you need to read about the CRAZINESS.

Bellanca had a wedding to get to. But it ended up being hers to a stranger. Brakos was the Italian mob from the old country and Bell’s grandmother had promised her to him and he had come to collect. But her grandmother had other things in store for Brakos except Bell and Brakos realized they were meant to be.

Bell thought she was just getting in her uber to attend her friend’s wedding turns out it wasn’t her Uber and when she gets to the destination, she is the bride. Brakos is a member of a Greek crime family and Bell didn’t know her grandmother had arranged this. Will Bell be able to walk away from her new husband? Fast-paced read with plenty of drama and steamy chemistry. I found the read steamy and intriguing. I liked it.

I did not like the story, it has too much fantasy, everything is forced.
She enters in a uber with to guys in it? Not happening. And she never tries to escape, excepts everything just like that... Until the end, everything is forced, unnaturally...
It could had been a very good book and it has great sex scenes.

Given to the Groom is a quick read that brings Greek Mafia head Brakos to America. He is set to marry Bellanca an American Greek who has no idea who Brakos is or that she was given to him as a bride by her grandmother. Her grandmother told lots of stories about running from Greece and being a Greek Mafia princess but Bell thought they were stories. You are going to love this one ! Lots of twists and turns to be seen!

Will the over the top aloha get his man or woman in this case?????

A Greek girl is kidnapped and given, by her grandmother, to a Greek mafia kingpin but for what purpose??????? To solidify two major families in the mafia, for revenge or purely because she needs someone to love. An over the top, I know my mind Alpha with a panicked sweet girl unsure what’s going to happen. Some great characters and a good story.

An absolutely fantastic read! The story line is well thought out, well-written, emotionally deep, and consistent; I was captivated from page one until the end. There is drama, suspense, humour, witty banter, very steamy scenes, and more. The characters are likeable and strong; their chemistry is intense, instant, and undeniable! This book is guaranteed to leave you wanting more. Definitely recommended.
