I loved this. It made me want to fight a cop. I was lucky enough to meet the author and it was a joy to hear her read it.

The first time I heard bridgette bianca read her poetry I was blown away and immediately needed to find out where to hear her next. I've been waiting for her debut be/trouble which speaks truth to South Central LA and Black America and is a testament for the rest of us to sit with and learn from. I finished this amazing collection of poetry last night. Super powerful, and full of the pain and anger of being a Black woman in America. Highly recommended.
