I have been a big fan of this series since I read the first book and fell in love with God and Day... no matter how ridiculous I found their names at the time. They grew on me though... the names, I can not imagine God having any other kind of name, it's just him.

Now what I love most in my books is some bad-ass alpha goodness and boy does this book deliver. Ex and Meridian are as bad as they come and they are about to cross paths with our favorite narcotics team!! So much alpha yumminess!!

I think I'm in the minority on this one...

I've enjoyed this series so far and as is often the case I've enjoyed some stories more than others.

So far my absolute favorites have been 'Nothing Special V' and 'Nothing Special VI: His Hart's Command' (especially this one) I really loved both of these stories but then I admit I'm a bit of a geek/nerd fan, I love stories where it takes both brains and brawn to resolve a situation where everyone has a chance to show their worth and I admit I just

Oh this was just so good! I wasn't sure how 2 new characters were going to be woven into my beloved Nothing Special world, but it was so expertly done by Ms. Via. First let me start with Ex and Meridian...these two were super alphas, bad ass, military trained operatives that have been working together and off the grid for 8 years. Trained to be super killing machines, devoid of attachments and emotions. That did not stop them from letting their love for each other come through. Their romance was ...more

"A man who can partner with the one he loves doesn't make him makes him more dangerous."

Not gonna lie, I was a little worried about how the author was going to just drop in two random MC's into an established series and make it work. Well, it totally worked.

Ex and Meridian's story wove in seamlessly into God and Day's world. Adding in God's point of view was the perfect thread to tie this book to the rest of the series. And when all were in the same room

These books are totally crazy and OTT. After reading the blurb I was excited about this one and it jumped to the top of my to-read list.

The liked the idea of this and both Ex and Meridian.
Im sorry to say it didnt totally win me over. The reason I think is all the telling. So much time was spent telling us how great these guys are. And while this is true, they are pretty great.
I liked the parts when they were actually doing. I did however like the slow burn. The way their relationship

Absolutely loved this ... fast paced, compelling and another fab read from this series. Ex & Meridien were great characters and ensuring God & Day and their team were part of the storyline made it an instant win for me. I read this late into the night, couldnt put it down ❤ ...more

I'm bad.
No I'm bad.
No we are bad.
Yes they are bad. I mean YES!

This book was funny!

I loved seeing my men again especially Judge, Michaels, Ruxs and Green. My two fav couples!

Ex and Meridian are partners since the beginning of their career. They never expected a relationship together. In their world, it's...."complicated". When Ex heard about the murder of his young brother, he come back home for revenge. With his partner logically. These two are some of the best CIA

Holy smokes! This book is a 10 out of 5 stars for me!
Let me start with saying that the plot of the book is really well thought out and the sequence of events makes the suspence a constant throughout the whole story - there is no reprieve! Putting the book down was painful!
I loved how balanced the story was - we get a healthy dose of action, criminals and justice soldiers, but it is perfectly interrupted by the evolution of the relationship between MCs. The multiple POV narration makes it for a

To be honest, I so hate to be a party pooper. Everybody is raving about this book. I went into it knowing what to expect, and to a point I wasn't disappointed. Some things were the same: sheer perfection of every character and their incredible abilities. I half expected somebody to start doing magic. That was grating on the nerves a bit. Another, was that again there was too much God and Day time and POV. I mean, they dominate the series so much that other couples do not get enough of their ...more
I loved every bit of this book.

Ex and Meridian were such badasses and it was great catching up with the other couples in this series. I don't know how well it'll do as a stand-alone but you can attempt because it really is good.

This was a great addition to the series and I hope we see more from these two in the subsequent books!

O and awesome move by the author to put the entire series on KU!! *claps furiously*

The chemistry between God and Day still permeate even after so many books. In this together, they fight side by side as partners in and out of the bedroom. With the law shutting them down at each turn, the team needs to find another way to bring justice back. And then the unimaginable happened. A case that they were working on becomes the bane of their existence when the Deputy District Attorney finds ways to destroy their hard work.

When a series is so good and so well loved, expectations are going to be high going into the latest instalment. This one delivered, and then some. We get two new characters here in Ex and Meridian and I wondered how theyd fit but they were born for this world. Going in felt like Id never left and once Id started reading, that was it. What Ex and his mom had suffered was heartbreaking, so I was rooting for them to get some justice, and when our beloved Lieutenants God and Day get in the mix, you ...more
I honestly think this was my favourite book yet! Each one by A.E Via just keeps getting better and better!! I can't wait for the next .

This story was overwhelming and intense and as much as I love this series, these guys and all the guys of God and Days team. I actually had to put it down a couple of times to get rid of the pit in my gut. I was ON EDGE, yall.

These guys make God, Day and their crew of rowdy boys, look like kittens compared to Americas most savage defenders. Ex and his partner Meridian are the typs of guys you only hear about in movies. Jason Bourne type guys, chemically and physically modified to be killing

I am over the moon in love with this story! Ex and Meridian are a force that will just keep you glued to the book, add in our beloved crew from the mean streets of Atlanta, and a quick appearance of two of my favorite bonds men and you have one action packed story.

Ex and Meridian are deadly trained assassins that work side by side as one unit, they were trained to show no mercy and zero emotion, but when Ex finds out his little brother has been murdered all bets are off and these two will show

I was given a copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.

This is such an unexpected treat! This book takes the Nothing Special series to a much darker place. Ex and Meridian are elite dark ops agents with a personal interest in one of God and Days cases. While it might seem impossible, the two assassins have an even more ruthless and violent approach to crime solving than God and Days team. The result is a rather tense and somewhat gruesome catch up with the Nothing Special team and

Nothing Special VII EX Meridian by A.E. Via

I was given a ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

NSVII introduces us to two new Bad-ass Alphas. Two men who have been trained to feel nothing. To kill. To Protect. To distract and extract before the enemy can make a move. Heartache leads Ex and Meridian to Atlanta. Leads them on a path of revenge, a path finding a murderer, and straight into the path of one 6'4" bad-ass Lieutenant and his task force.

I started reading this book earlier today, and the world around me just

Wow, just wow! AE Via has done it again!!

I'm a huge fan of the Nothing Special series. I love God and Day's squad and all of the books for the individual couples. It would take a serious amount of carefully crafted writing, therefore, to revisit the all of the guys in their busy lives without it seeming trite and whilst introducing two completely new alphas at the same time. Ms Via absolutely nails it, however, with a well-woven tale of crime and corruption that brings Ex and Meridian into God's

First of all let me just say that this book is a dream come true! For those who have been following the Nothing Special series, this book is awesome because not only do we have Ex and Meridian, two Alphas who are especially trained to stop any and all bad things, but also the entire Atlanta Narcotics Task Force!

Two killing machines are in town, trying to find a killer as fast as they can before they themselves will be called upon to do their duty. They are working against the clock to find out
Loved it!!
Another bad-ass couple to rival God and Day.
Ex and Meridian are a black-ops pairing who have been shaped and honed to become cold, ruthless assassins. Their motto is "distract and extract" and they are used to defuse situations before they become world problems. But when Ex's little brother is caught up in gang violence and killed, Ex and Meridian break protocol and revenge is their aim. Long buried emotions start to bubble to the surface.
Unfortunately this part of town is the domain

Ex and Meridian come back to the drug torn streets of Atlanta to bury Exs little brother, a victim of gang violence. Two men who dont exist are there to get vengeance. When they realize that maybe they can actually be more than just partners, their bond becomes truly unbreakable.

They are doing well on their own until God and his guys get in the way.

Thats it for plot points. As usual I loved God and Day and their band of merry men. What I really like about the authors books are the strength her

I'm going to try hard to avoid spoilers.

Ex and Meridian came back to Ex's hometown after finding out his brother was killed. When he hears there may be problems with the police investigating his brother's murder, Ex becomes determined to sort out any corruption keeping his brother's killer free. Thankfully, he and Meridian quickly realize that God and his detectives are not the problem, but they keep crossing paths in dangerous ways.

Ex and Meridian are truly dangerous men, highly

I am disappointed with this one. I've been a fan of A.E. Via works but this isn't what I expected from the author. Really the only reason I've finished it because I only cared for what God and Day's team has been up to and could care less for the main characters. The author said it had happily ever

Holy crap. I have 62 highlights in this book.

I need these guys to come back. Love how in tune they are. And the effect they have on each other. I will take more of ALL of the Nothing Special gang any day, any time. And Ex & Meridian make the perfect little hitch in the task force's day-to-day lives.

I cannot wait for Aiden Snow to get his hands on this one. <3<3<3

I received a free copy to read and review for Wicked Reads

The author states you can read this as a stand alone but I highly recommend the entire series. We see several characters from past books and it just enhances the enjoyment of this one. I love Ex and Meridian, they are so good together. The book moves so fast, you are on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next with not only the storyline but with Ex and Meridian's relationship. Ugh...I just love this series, this new couple

Wow, the connection between Ex and Meridan was evident right from the start.
I really loved watching them working together to find justice for Ex's brother.
I enjoyed their interactions with God, Day and their team. It was great seeing all the guys again.
Plenty of action with a story line that keeps you invested the whole way through.
Highly recommend!!
I will always welcome another book in the Nothing Special universe and I love them meeting the newest bounty hunters in the BEST way possible. The chemistry, tension, suspense and the update on all my favorite couples makes me only hope for this series to never ever stop. Marshall and Xavier are an amazing duo, partners and addition to this world.

At first, I thought I was going to be reading about two emotionless robots, thankfully after a few chapters, Ex and Meridian developed personalities.

I am so in love with these guys, I would loooove to read more about them.

And, as always, It was great catching up with God, Day, Greem Ruxs, & the rest of the ATL taskforce.
