I have to say that the word “difficult” is the word to describe this book. The heroine is difficult. She causes many difficulties for our hero Zane and has a know it all personality. Her attitude sucks from the beginning and I just generally did not like her. She got a little better toward the end but not much. I loved Zane and feel sorry that he has her as a mate. I hope this series get better.

I absolutely love Milly Taiden’s Paranormal Dating Agency Series. Like as soon as a book is out or able to be preordered I click that purchase button. So when I learned she had another series that featured witches and Salem? I was all for it but I held myself back from reading the series until all books were out. This is was easy because I knew I wouldn’t have to wait half a year or more for the next book.

Unfortunately I have to say I’m a bit disappointed. This book and story has so much potent

The narrators did a good job. I like fated mates stories and I liked Zane but Raven was annoying but author did address the issues I had.

Awe struck!

Zane and Raven are the most unpredictable couple. This was an enjoyable story with a mystery. I can't wait for the next installment.

Fair warning run away the cover makes it look like its a good book about mates and supernatural and magic and ITS NOT. ugh it literally was slowly turning my brain to mush.

He's the sheriff. She a witch and the object of a death threat along with her female relatives. Zack and the shifter wolf pack alpha team up to save the witches. Until they can find the culprits and make a plan to capture them, the guys plan to put the women in safe houses protected by deputies or shifters.

She's a witch and a strong woman with a business to run. She's not going to make it easy on him to just take her away. That is until she meets the threat head-on. She may go but is she going

MC is very childish!

I don't care for Raven too much, at least not in the beginning. Before she meets Zane, she's fine; but after he comes to warn her, her personality turns into something resembling a spoiled, petulant teenager. A man is shooting at her, trying to kill her, but it takes him calling her evil before she gets mad and fights back? Seriously? And she's supposed to be this big, bad witch...but she can't even handle simple defense spells she's supposed to know, despite it being a whil

This is an OK shifter/witch romance, but it seemed that the couple was more in lust than in love. I also found it very difficult to like Raven. It gets 2.5 stars from me, rounded up to 3 stars.

Raven was very hard to like. She was a complete bi*** to Zane for most of the story, but still thought he was hot. Then she had sex with him while she still thought he couldn't be trusted, which was a terrible thing to do. Her attitude was supposedly because of her terrible ex -- but sleeping with Zane whe

Spellbound in Salem is the first book in the new series Casters & Claws. In it we meet witch Raven & wolf shifter Zane & follow them in their fight for happily ever after.

Raven Bishop & her family are descended from a long line of witches in Salem, dating back to the infamous Witch Trials. She & her twin are content to run their small shop in Salem, that is until the local sheriff comes in with trouble right behind him. When a bunch of witch hunters come after her, she'd rather stand & fight. I

Great start to a new series!

Raven cones from a long line of witches, stretching all the way back to the Salem witch trials. But there seems to be an evil band of Witch Hunters who have decided the time is ripe to strike at the witches. It doesn't matter to them that Raven, her twin and their cousins only use their gifts for good.

When Zack, the local Sheriff gets clued into the plot against the witches he is determined to save them. Slight wrinkle to the pan - Raven is his mate but she is not swa

Oh yeah Milly T and new series go hand in hand and so excited to read about a new world and characters she creates.

Our book city... Salem...mmmm now you know it's going to be fun! Witches and Wolves oh my! Witches and Witches seem to be the name of the game in this story and the town sheriff will have his hands full not only with witches but with one witch in particular.

Now, how easy will the Sheriff have it do you wonder when he tried to save the witches' lives by telling them to hightail it

I liked the premise of the story a lot. Decedents of the Salem witches, and witches themselves, the Bishop women have been targeted by witch hunters set on destroying all witches. Luckily the werewolves of Salem get a warning and are set to save the witches.

I liked Zane, the werewolf sheriff was both sweet and protective. Raven however I found rather annoying. I could understand that she has baggage,

What a great new series!

I absolutely loved Raven and Zane. Raven is a witch who can trace her lineage to the very first Salem witches. Zane is a sheriff and wolf shifter. When Zane receives a possible threat against all the witches in his town he and the alpha act immediately. Raven just wants to live her life run her shop in peace. When a sexy bossy sheriff shows up to tell her that her life is in danger and needs to leave the town well that doesn't go over very well. After the heart break of

This was a enjoyable and entertaining read and a great start for a new series. But let me tell you that I had a loved hate relationship with Raven. I felt bad for Zane thought out the whole book. I'm all for a strong heroine but she took it to the extreme she had a know it all complex and was stubborn to boot. I'm glad that she got it together in the end. Overall a good read looking forward to seeing what else is in store for this series. I received a free copy via booksprout I voluntarily read ...more

This is the start of a new series by author Milly Taiden and what a start this is indeed. This book gets start gets off with all kinds of bullets flying and wolves & witches are finding they are having the duck and hide in Salem. In this first book we get to know Sheriff Zack and Raven one of a set of twin witches who happens to own a shop in Salem. Have you heard of Meet Cutes? Well, this is a wild one for the books for sure. Zack and Raven's book is so good that I know the rest of this series ...more

Zane is the sheriff and a wolf shifter.
When a human teenager reports that his dad is hunting down witches, Zane is forced into action to save lives.

Raven is one or the witches in question.
She doesn't take Zane's news seriously.
She actually laughs in his face.

Zane has to fight hard to convince Raven that there is a real threat to her and her family members.

Once they are attacked, it becomes clear that Zane was telling the truth.

But Zane still has his work to do by convincing Raven that she's his
This is Book 1 on the Casters and Claws Series. Things are going to go bump in the night and maybe even kaboom! Zane is a wolf shifter and is Sheriff when he finds out there’s a group in town planning on getting rid of the witches. He meets Raven to tell her about the plan, but she wants nothing to do with him or his plan to keep her safe. This story won’t disappoint you when you read it. It has all kinds of twists and turns to keep your attention. I recommend you read it while we wait for the n ...more

Usually I am a loyal fan, but lately some of the stories have been difficult to enjoy.
The heroine in this one, Raven, is acting like an entitled, arrogant child and I feel very sorry for her “love” interest.
He is trying to keep her alive, dealing with an unknown number of enemies with guns. Zane is asking her to be cautious and trust that as an experienced Sheriff he has a plan but she ignores him and then expects him to get all his people to protect her and her family at the ris

This is Zane and Raven's story . Raven is a witch that is so sure that she is able to take care of herself without anyone's help no matter what other's say . Zane is trying to get rid of the witch hunters and at the same time protect the Bishop ladies but he seems to hit one heck of a brick wall when warning Raven . After Raven decides she can protect herself without that wolf's help she learns quickly that is so not the case ! Zane's wolf is driving him crazy claiming she is his mate but once t ...more

OOOHH this is such a great new series and I can’t wait for the rest of it. You get a yummy hot wolf shifter sheriff and a Salem witch. You get crazy people trying to get rid of all Salem witches. This story had heat, drama, some laughs and chemistry. I LOVED IT. Raven and Zane really had great chemistry. I loved how Zane knew she was his mate but wouldn’t push her. He wanted her to come to him when she was ready.

Omg! I've volunteered to review this book. I love to read books from Milly Taiden. Milly is one of my ultimate favorite authors to read. This is the first book in a new series called Casters & Claws. This is Raven and Zane's story. Zane is the town sheriff and also he's a shifter too. Raven is a witch. And now her life is in danger. Raven is such a strong woman and not wanting to back down from this threat. Can Zane keep Raven safe? I can't wait to read about her sister and cousin's story. Keep ...more

Raven 1st meets Zane when he bursts into her store, claiming that the Order of Salem was after the original Salem witches and that she was in danger. WTF? Sheriff hottie is sexy and all but who is he to tell her what to do? That is until the Order shows up at her shop and tries to kill her. She has no choice except to go with him for protection. But willingly? Not so much. And now he's telling her that she's his mate? She doesn't need a man or want one. But that isn't entirely correct, is it? An ...more

Just finished this book. It was hard for me to read because Robin was just darn annoying. Really. There’s prickly and wary and there’s just mean. And mean is Robin. To argue and to be difficult just because, is so unnecessary. I felt sorry for Zane for being stuck with her.

I would’ve enjoyed this book more if it wasn’t for Robin’s attitude. The concept for the series is interesting though. So hopefully the other books, female leads will improve after this.

Great book!

If Zane had done all the jerk things he did to Ravin at the beginning of the story in real life, he would have found himself castrated, LoL. I did love the internal struggle he fought between his ‘possessive alpha’ tendencies and his modern man ‘respect the woman’s choice’ attitude. I also loved that Raven refused to give in to his instant ‘you are mine forever’ claims and gave him a good run for his money to earn her love. I found this story to be so much more realistic to how I wou

If you love something that will have you going back over and over to read trust me this would be one for you .

Ugh Really?

I barely started this but got turned off when a Witch couldn't protect herself or property. Why bother saying she's a witch? Her whole life was wasted not using her potential, her gifts, talents, power? A witch her age & old powerful bloodline throwing air balls? Wth? YAWN.....
I was looking forward when she laughed @ the sheriff s warning, expecting her to walk him to the back of her shop, showing him unconscious bad guys in a witch circle & her saying, oh, you mean these guys?I

Steam is good, which is typical Milly. Characters are fun. Still needs a proofread.

The biggest issue is she obviously didn't research Salem at all though (like didn't even spend 15minutes on google or looking at Salem PD's website to find out they don't have a sheriff or wear brown (there is a reason they are called the boys in blue although the dress uniforms look black). The Police Chief isn't elected, they are appointed. The cops wear shields, not stars. Salem is on the ocean, with woods on t
I try my best to complete this book. The fmc definitely is the main reason why I had a very hard time finishing this book. A very childish and selfish woman who only thinks that her magic is answer to everything even when the mc told her that it’ll be dangerous cos they’re against people who are armed. She kept putting herself and mc in danger.

AND. How awesome I remember her asshole ex name cos his name has been popping out almost every chapter.

Seriously. I hope the twin sister story will be be
