A perfectly enjoyable and fast read! Imagine finding a trove of paintings by a famous artist, completely unknown to the public, in an auctioned storage unit. That is where the story begins. It then jogs back and forth from present time to the earlier lives of the painter and his subject, Caroline. Make it a beach read this summer!

Really enjoyed this book. The writing is good and love the characters. It is a mystery that has a good ending.

Gifted ARC From The Author | In what might be one of my favorite fictional books by Arthur D. Hittner, The Caroline Paintings has a lovable cast of characters and is perfect for art fiction lovers.

Spanning the south and into Boston, jump timelines and stories as we learn about a mysterious and beautiful young muse and her painter.
