“If we’re going to expect change in our industry, it’s got to start somewhere. And what better place than at a female-driven production company."

Jenn Cooper , owner and founder of independent production company Cooper Pictures is a well-rounded success and a billionaire tycoon, and she may be a product of privilege but she’s since carved her own steps to independent privilege. Film was her growing fascination and is now a career of zeal and enthusiasm. Jenn runs a tight ship

This is a lovely easy read story. It’s based around the romantic chemistry between our two main characters and the obstacles presented by the Hollywood lifestyle. The main villain is the heroine ex-boyfriend whom is a really asshat.
One of my favorite thing was the reality of their situation, and that you could actually picture someone having those problems. The story has a good pace but I do think

Okay, it's been ages since I read a book. I don't know if my standards got higher but this is a ok book for me not good yet also not bad at the same time. The book talked about Jenn a CEO with her own movie studio who was instantly attracted to one of the new star's manager. Which later they'll work together, an with a lingering ex behind causing drama and trouble.

Lets talk about the things I like first. I like that the author tries to portray Jenn as a strong and independent women as she

I received this book in exchange for a review.

Fame and Privilege is not what I expected, that's for sure! It was even BETTER!

Jenn Cooper is the owner of a major film production company and shes been in the spotlight for as long as she can remember thanks to her father. She's a hard worker and committed to delivering with each client.

Ryan Price and his good friend Julia Belle are the actress and manager team that have one hell of a story to share with the world... who better to produce than Jenn

I enjoyed every minute of this fantastic Hollywood romantic debut novel by L.C. Reagan with unforgettable characters and a well-written story that immediately pulled me in and kept me totally captivated in all that was happening. I loved the instant attraction and undeniable chemistry between billionaire Jenn Cooper who runs her own successful movie studio and Ryan Price, a young and talented manager who represents the up-and-coming starlet Julia Belle. Written in third person POV, Fame & Privilege by L.C Reagan tells us the story of how two individuals survive in the glitzy and glamarous world of Hollywood.

The blurb was interesting and immediately got my attention. I like all things Hollywood, so I had high hopes going into this book.
Let me tell you, the book doesn't disappoint at all.
The heroine, Jenn Cooper, is a daughter of a well known movie director. Even though she was born with a silver spoon, she has worked really hard to get to

I honestly don't know where to start with this review.

OK. Let me say that this is not a bad book. But it didn't set me on fire either. I liked the characters, but I didn't get their attraction to each other - at all. For me, their connection just wan't there.

That said, this was an easy, quick read.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

This book is 18+ Because the sex scenes were HOT

I loved reading this so much. I could already picture a movie in my head although it seems like something that’s been done in the past but all the same

Perfect light read that I needed for the holidays

I was expecting a bit of drama with the tape recording and from Julia but I guess not everything has to be bad

Overall good writing from L. C Reagan

Thank you for the ARC read, I voluntarily give this book an honest review. Jenn had build her producing company from the ground up. Becoming one of the top places in Hollywood. When Ryan comes in her life with a script from a hot up and coming actress, Jenn takes a chance on the manager turned producer. When the attraction between them surfaces to a hot boil, Jenn and Ryan have to keep it from the media for the sake of the film. The is one hitch in their plan Richard, Jenn's ex is trying to ...more

L. C. Reagan has given us a very good story for her debut book. This book is centered around Jenn Cooper, the owner of Cooper Pictures and Ryan Price, the manager of Julia Belle. Ryan and Jenn meet when he goes to see her about a script that Julia has written. To say that they’re attracted to each other is an understatement, their chemistry is unbelievable. During this story, the author tells a realistic accounting of what goes on during the filming of a movie. We also meet Alicia, Jenn’s ...more

This book is pretty good. It is about a Jennifer Cooper, head of a major studio and Ryan Price, manager to the stars. The chemistry between the two is off the charts from first meeting a grows stronger with every meeting. This book reads similar to a movie. The author is very descriptive and sets scenes immaculately. Readers feel like they are watching a movie instead of just reading a book. The characters literally jump off the page and become a permanent fixture in your imagination.

I did not know L.C Reagan before this book and will definitely read more. The book is very captivating. The lust between Jenn and Ryan is super hot and realistic. They have so much going on in the movie industry they don’t want to let their relationship hurt this movie. Of course it’s going to. The reason for 4 stars is that I was not a fan of how everything was resolved in the end (I won’t give spoilers since I hate reading spoilers in reviews, but once you read it you’ll know). The book has so ...more
Fame & Privilege is the story of Jenn Cooper, independent movie studio owner and Ryan Price, manager. Their relationship seemed inevitable because of their instant chemistry. This story really makes you feel like you are in the middle of making a movie. The author is very detailed, which was fun. The steamy scenes delivered, the bad guy was wonderfully awful, and the happy ending was there too. A solid story. I received an ARC for free, and am leaving this review voluntarily.

I was intrigued when I read the description, and the book delivered more than I expected. I loved how the story dealt with relevant topics in today's world. Jenn and Ryan's story not only gives you a wonderful love story it also makes you think about what is important in the world.

Fame & Privilege is the first book from L. C. Reagan that I’ve ever read. It’s a book written in the third person and the action takes place in LA and Malibu.
The two principal characters are Jenn - a female character who’s both successful and rich - and Ryan - the male character who was the hero of the story (from my point of view - if you read the book, you’ll know

Fame & Privilege really is a book about fame and privilege, and the romance isn't too bad, but definitely very Hollywood. The main character is a billionaire who owns her own film company, and when she gets an opportunity to work with the manager of actress Julia Belle, she leaps into it feet first. When a morality clause gets put in place to keep sexual harassment at bay, it puts a bit of a wrinkle in her working relationship with the manager.

I have to be honest, although this story's blurb sparked my interest months ago, I initially didn't want to read the entirety of it because I unfairly thought that it would be just another Hollywood story. I was so wrong! The story was absolutely beautiful! I appreciated the inner workings of Hollywood and the whole movie production process. I found Jenn and Ryan so real. I admire how driven they were but I loved how they somehow remained down-to-earth. I appreciated that no matter their ...more

I tried my hardest, but I could not for the life of me connect with this story enough to finish it. The writing felt very one dimensional and ‘on the nose’, and the characters felt like they lacked personality and depth. I craved for a natural feeling in regards to the progression and well...everything... during my reading that I just didn’t happen unfortunately.

The title says it all! Fame and Privilege tells the story of instant-love between two people and how they try to resist each other to save their reputations.

It was a quick read and that's probably the only reason why I finished it.
The dialogues were stiff and at times a little unnatural and I didn't feel any sympathy towards the characters. It was lacking also a little depth into the story as I felt like everything happened too quickly and no plot was fully developped.

I thoroughly enjoyed the close look into all the moving parts of the movie industry from a production perspective. I loved that this contemporary romance had the heroine in a place of power. I’m sure it happens plenty, but I haven’t come across a female boss lead in a while and I thoroughly enjoyed the change in the power structure. The steamy intimate scenes were well-written and enjoyable without getting too detailed. Ryan Price was enjoyable as a male lead that didn’t take the typical alpha ...more

I can't finished it, The writing is to slow, I dont feel the characters, the narrative is not intrigue or keep you in suspense. I try, I read until 60 or 70% then started skipping pages and can't finished it. Sorry, maybe other readers enjoy this book.

This book was written in third person and switched to first person then switched to another first person then back. It was confusing. You would think that the plot would be focused on the love story but it was focused on the possible media reaction to the relationship. Then once there was a relationship it was like it was no big deal and they only cared about media perception.

This book needed a lot of help sorting out who was talking and such. I get in the middle of a chapter changing from one
Predictable yet enjoyable:
This book was a bit unrealistic and simplistic, however it was set with Hollywood as a backdrop! I thought the romance moved a little too quickly in the beginning and the story could have benefited from drawing out the anticipation. Jenn and Ryan's relationship was complicated by a morality clause that they'd instigated so that did add a novel dimension. The twist greatly aided what was otherwise a rather predictable story, however I thought the resolution was a little

I don't typically like to give a negative review of a book as I can only imagine the work that goes into it by the author. However, I feel that 2 stars is pretty generous here. Maybe I've read an unedited copy, as at least once the lead female character was referred to by the wrong name (Alicia or Ashley?), there were many incomplete sentences, punctuation issues and grammatical errors. I got the impression that the female lead was meant to be a strong-willed woman, but found her to be quite ...more
