Hippocrates has alwasys interested me, and this book filled in some of the pieces. Not all by any means. But the short book, which I read over a period of about a week's time, did explain what is known about him, and how it is presumably known, and why not more is known. The book discusses other characters, just as interesting and how they were influenced by Hippocrates. A nice timeline, glossary and further references --always helpful!
