Jane is an abused wife. She's been hit, humiliated, and thrown out the door .. literally. With no money and only two boxes of personal items, she turns to her cop friend to help her find a place to stay and change her identity. She knows too much about her well known attorney husband and he 'will' try to kill her.

Within a couple of hours, he's moved a younger woman into his home.

Eventually she runs into her ex-husband's mistress and her infant at a sleazy little grocery store where the mistres

Unfortunately I didn't care for this book, but the good news for potential readers is that seems to be the minority opinion. Most of the other reviews are positive so take my opinions as always with a grain of salt.

The story doesn't get off to a great start because it felt like I was thrown into the middle of something. It's my understanding from reading other reviews, Love, Jane features a character from another novel by the author but this book can be read as a standalone. I haven't read the o

Would you help the woman who stole your husband? Jane was once married to Stewart. He was abusive and eventually tossed Jane out for another woman, Shana. Time passes, and some things happen that I will not get into right now. One day, Jane runs into Shana, and Shana asks Jane for help because, of course, Stewart is abusing her. Honestly, I

Those who follow my blog will remember a while back I posted a review on a book called Dear, Anna which I loved and reminded me of the TV show How to Get Away with Murder. Well in Dear, Anna - Medeia meets a kindred soul at the gym who helps her get to the point she needs to be at. That person was Jane and we catch glimpses of Jane's past in Dear, Anna. Now Katie has decided to write Jane's story leading up to the first meeting of Medeia in the gym and how Jane became Jane Voss. As readers of th

I was disappointed. This was nowhere near as good as Dear Anna. Oddly enough, I liked Jane better in Anna's story. A critical point to make is that the author kept stating convenient things to make the plot seem organic. I think if those points were written better it would have seemed logical. ...more

Jane was an abused wife. With the help of others, some good and some bad, she has now put her life back together after her abusive ex-husband Stewart kicked her out to be with his younger, pregnant mistress, Shana.

The book starts off strong as we learn about Jane's new life, her job at a motel, and Ramona and Billy, the woman and policeman who have helped her get through it all. She is now stronger and more confident, enough to even get into a new relationship with Billy, who saves her when some

I've been giddy thinking about Jane getting her own story. It is not necessary to read Dear Anna before reading Love, Jane; the two stories aren't exactly connected to reach other. I will say that I loved both novels and if you like a good story where the average woman finds her inner strength to break free from years of abuse and turmoil than I'd highly recommend reading both books. I would love if this empowering series continued on with more people getting just what they deserve!!

Katie Blanchard does it again with “Love, Jane”!

We all met the steadfast Jane Voss in “Dear Anna” and now we are afforded the opportunity to learn her backstory. It is not often that an author takes us on this journey and what an awesome idea this is. I found it to be not only super exciting, but; realized how truly powerful learning her history was.

The theme that runs vibrantly through this novel is that “Girls Stick Together” and...it bleeds into (or out of) “Dear Anna”. That is the beauty of

I admired Jane from when I was first introduced to her in Dear Anna. So to say I was excited when I saw we were going to know her story was an understatement. You definitely need to read Dear Anna first to experience the air of mystery surrounding Jane. In Dear Anna, Jane is so intriguing and in the end you want to know more about her because throughout the book she drops little breadcrumbs of her past. Love, Jane gives you all the answers we were hoping for. I could not put it down. This was a ...more

Jane is an abused wife. She is hit, humiliated and literally thrown out the door. With nothing left but two boxes of personal items, she turns to her cop friend to save her. Also her world starts to crumble around her, Jane has to decide whether to put herself first or dive back into the darkness to help others.

A heartbreaking, but wonderful book. It does have a trigger warning attached - and while it doesn’t directly talk about abuse, it does reference it on numerous occasions. You will fall i

Then he discovers a younger woman and she is thrown to the curb.
She finds herself almost killed and followed. Does he have a hit out on her?
His new wife Shana finds herself being abused and wants out.
She asks Jane for help - Will Jane be able to help her?

We met Jane in Dear Abby, as Medeia's new and supportive friend. It turns out her story is a lot more complicated than she made out. I really liked her, she is stronger than she knows and in the end she learns to stand on her own and who she can trust. Some parts of this made me really sad. ...more

Love, Jane by Katie Blanchard is a story about a woman rebuilding her life after being abused by her wealthy ex-husband, Stewart. Jane has started a new life as a single and almost broke woman since she was thrown out of her abuser's home. Ironically, Jane hired a young yoga instructor, Shana, to help her ex with his cardiac issues. Eventually, Jane was tossed aside in favor of Shana. Upon leaving her home, Jane is brutally attacked but is saved with the help of police officer Billy, who becomes ...more

If you have read Dear, Anna then you will know who Jane is if not your missing out but hey you could read this and then Dear, Anna either way these books are a must read.
Love, Jane is Jane’s story about after years of physical abuse Jane found herself kicked to the curb by her abusive husband once he decided to knock up his mistress and marry her. It’s about how she has grown since then and the danger that she is still in even after she escapes the grips of her abuser. Jane

When I first discovered Katie Blanchard's Dear Anna, I knew I'd found an author that I would grow to love. There was just something about her writing, the way she lured you into her story, and the way she left you feeling when you were done reading.

Well, I'm here to tell you, Blanchard has done it again with her latest, Love, Jane. Jane was a character I'd met before and couldn't wait to read about again. Psychological thrillers aren't typically my kinds of reads, but the way Blanchard's charac

This is my second book that I have read by this author. Again, this author delivers another fantastic book. In Love, Jane, we find a woman named Jane who is married to a very wealthy lawyer who constantly beats her up and than blames it on his stress in life, blah, blah blah. She land up being beat up to a point where she can no longer have children. She highers this woman who says she can help with his stress and before Jane can blink an eye she is thrown out of her house, replaced by the woman ...more

I read Dear Anna and LOVED it! This was another good one! Jane is starting over after being kicked out of her home after her abusive husband has an affair with Shana. Jane has a new job and a friend in Billy, a cop who saved her life from a killer the night she was kicked out of her home. When Shana shows up looking for Jane to tell her that the same thing is happening to her, Jane is stuck on what to do. Especially because Shana has something that Jane couldn’t give her ex husband, a baby. But ...more

I feel like I was just taken on a crazy journey with Jane. Jane's abusive husband, Stewart, has replaced her with a "newer model", and Jane finds herself living in a motel. Soon Shana (the new wife) ends up there and they become unlikely friends. Suddenly the people close to Jane start dying & she's not sure who to trust.
I don't know exactly what to write without giving away spoilers, but this story will draw you in & keep you trapped until you get to the ending!! It was such an amazing book! 5

I loved reading about Jane in Katie’s other book Dear Anna. She seemed so bad ass because of all that happened to her.
This time around we go back in time and see how she was helped by Ramona her best friend.

A well written book. Jane, an abused wife of a rich powerful man, is kicked out of her home so he can move his latest, much younger model in. He's all heart though and orders her a taxi this is just the beginning of her nightmare. Perhaps being beaten by your husband is not so bad ....... The author pulls you in with her descriptions of all the characters, done in such a way that I could picture each one and recognise some traits of people I know. The ending wasn't. What I expected.

Most people are aware that leaving a domestic abuser is the most dangerous time for the victim ... in this sorry Jane survives leaving, not without continued fears and fungus strength in helping.

I love books. I love to hold books, look at books, hoard books, buy too many books, and most importantly read books.
