This was fab.

Morgan Brice's latest paranormal romance is another brilliant romping adventure full of otherworldly activity.

Simon and Vic are pondering their next steps when things start to get a bit strange in Myrtle Beach.

Without revealing any clues, pasts come back to add both confusion and danger and Simon needs to use all his psychic skills to put things right.

I loved seeing old characters and new work together and get more fascinating takes of ghosts and traditions from the author.

Another wonderful chapter in lives of psychic medium Simon and his detective boyfriend Vic. Told from dual POVs we get to see both men settled into living together and maybe planning something more. The story is fast-paced, suspenseful with a touch of mystery, mystical with a whole lot of magic and moderately angsty but with so much love and care! Loved getting reacquainted with Myrtle Beach and its quirky residents.

I like Simon and Vic as a couple. They are so caring, so supportive of each

A Joyfully Jay review.

Loose Ends is the third novel in Morgan Brice’s excellent Badlands series, and this is another entertaining installment. I love Vic and Simon as a couple and this story really reinforces what a good fit they are for each other. These guys both came out of bad relationships and neither expected to find love like they have with each other. As a couple, they are romantic and sexy and tender. I love the way they support each other, particularly how Vic fully believes in

A real page turner that combines paranormal, supernatural, mystery and m/m romance into what you'd think would just be a mishmash but which actually works very well together. I fell in love with Simon and Vic, the mystery element was so twisty and turny that it kept me guessing for a long time and I even ended up enjoying the ghosts/psychic aspect which is out of my normal reading material.

An entertaining and well thought out story. It's the fourth book in the series and does reference past

This series continues to get better and better! Simon and Vic are settling in as a couple and they're separately starting to think about proposing marriage to the other - but exes from both of their pasts are putting them each in danger. Morgan Brice continues to blend action, romance, ghosts, mystery, and hot-as-hell love scenes that capture both the tenderness and the primal force that are present in an ideal MM encounter. It's clear that Simon and Vic have a heart-connection with each other. ...more

Danger lurks around every corner in this spine chilling sequel. I loved how suspenseful and exciting this book was. I enjoyed reading more about the characters and watching their relationship continue to bloom and evolve.

As a huge fan of this series, (I’d been following Simon and Vic’s adventures since book 1), when I received this book as an ARC I was so happy... I don’t know where to begin, this series has 3 main elements that made all the books so good. First of all is the amazing paranormal aspect and in every book we learned a little bit more about the extension of Simon powers; Morgan Brice is brilliant in building a world so credible and natural, that you expected Simon intromission in everything ...more

Loose Ends was a pleasant surprise. I don’t normally go for books involving psychics and mystery but this one was extremely enjoyable and kept me interested throughout it all.

Simon, a psychic medium, and his detective boyfriend, Vic are thinking about taking their relationship to the next level but ghosts from the past are trying their best to keep that from happening. And, now the type of ghost Simon is used to.

Confession time. I did not read the first two books in this series which made me

I love this author. I love Simon and Vic. I think they are great characters. I love the mysteries. This is a great series. Loose Ends is the perfect title for this story as both Simon and Vic's exes converge on them, separately, but at the same time. So Simon and Vic have two sets of threads to unravel when trying to figure out what is really going on. The supernatural becomes a bit of of a side issue in this story as it shows that not all mysteries are supernatural in origin. The story has a ...more

Wow, this next installment to the Badlands series gives you all the feels! Simon and Vic are both ready to take their personal relationship to the next level, hence the arrival of Simon’s ex and another blast from the past to put a wrench in things. Really enjoyed another crazy ride with these two, I won’t give spoilers, so read it!

"Loose Ends" is the third volume of my favorite series by Morgan Brice, "Badlands". I admit that I love the previous two parts with all my heart, but the third one is definitely the best. Let's start with the fact that it is filled with incredible amount of various emotions. However, what I think is very important, positive emotions don't dominate in this installment, as we would expect. In "Loose Ends," the author first of all makes good use of uncertainty, fear, sadness, anger, and doubt. I ...more

Another ghost-laden and exciting adventure featuring Simon, an authentic medium and his tough as nails cop boyfriend Vic. I have loved all of the books in this series but this one is now my absolute favorite. Even though this can be read as a stand-alone, I strongly encourage you to read the other books as the growth in their relationship evolves over time and really adds to the enjoyment of the story. Simon and Vic are one of my favorite couples as their connection and chemistry

What I Think: If like me, you haven’t read the rest of this series, especially those that came before this, you’ll be hungry for all of it. The tale is great as a standalone, but it teases and hints at other things that will leave you scrambling for the other tales in the series.
Simon and Vic are definitely at a good place after what must have been a whirlwind meeting and romance that must have had lots of Rocky spots making this tale even more precious. The love and care they give each other is

“Loose Ends” by Morgan Brice continues to detail the adventures of Simon Kincaide, who is getting more comfortable in using his psychic powers, and his boyfriend, Detective Vic D’Amato, who has become a believer and ardent supporter of Simon. There are restless spirits centering around a cursed amusement park, Vic is also having a string of negative experiences, and each has to deal with an unwelcome visitor from his past. Tensions and danger mount and the question arises…will

This series is one of my favourites by this author. I love the MCs and their relationship, and how Simon’s abilities play a part in the plot. The final scene in this story was very satisfying, and I loved that they both want the same thing, yet are nervous about telling the other.

The more I find out about Simon’s past, his ex, and his mother, the more I’m happy he’s made a new life with Vic. Neither Jacen nor Simon’s mother are very nice, and both are driven by their own selfish agendas. They

Ghosts and more ghosts!

Loose Ends is such a great book and an excellent addition to the Badlands series. This series caught and held my attention back in October. I'm a relative newcomer to Morgan Brice's books but I got hooked then and I was really happy to get the chance to read and review this new story.

While Loose Ends is book three (or four depending on if you look at Goodreads or Amazon) in the Badlands series I think it works fine as a standalone. The author does a good job of giving you

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Vic and Simon have a great relationship, jobs that they love, and their life seems to be running as smooth as they can hope for, but both their pasts are coming back to try to disrupt their lives. I love Vic and Simon together. Even with all the tension, the connection and love between them is great. I thought the ghosts in this story were great, they helped with the flow of the story. The flow of the story was well done, there were
MMy Thoughts and Review:

What a wild ride. Usually the guys start their adventures off slowly but this one took off like a daredevil being shot out of a cannon.

From the barrage of ghosts at an abandoned amusement park to Simon and a new member of his "skeleton crew" finding a body, Loose Ends is one chilling turn after another...

To add to the chaos someone is stalking Vic. As a homicide detective of many years, that makes for quite a list. Now, Simon's ex has come knocking, and his mother is

Loose Ends is part of the Badlands series and while it is the continuing story of Vic and Simon, you don't need to read the previous books (other than book one). That being said you may want to step away if you have not read the books due to possible spoilers.

I read the first book and loved these characters so was happy to give this book a read. I loved being pulled back into the world created by the author. Simon has his work cut out for him on several cases, but, none of them turn out to be

Gripping, suspenseful, tense

This next book in the Badlands series has old chickens coming home to roost...or just be a pain in the you know what.

Vic and Simon are living together and enjoying their relationship, lives and careers. But of course things can’t continue to go smoothly and suddenly here are strange happenings, calls from home, Simon’s ex...everything centering around a theme of relationships. I really enjoyed the way the author did that.

There’s the usual gamut of emotions and some

What a roller coaster ride! This addition to the Badlands series will have you biting your nails waiting to see what happens next. Simon is a psychic medium who helps put ghosts to rest and works with his 'Skeleton Crew', a group of psychically talented people, many with little training in their gifts, to keep the people and ghosts of Myrtle Beach safe. He also is a consultant for the local police department, working with his boyfriend, Vic. Vic moved to Myrtle Beach after a supernatural ...more

I loved this book. I have now read all of Morgan Brice's books and I think that this is my favourite. In fact, I stayed at home this morning just to finish it.
I read somewhere that this could be read as a standalone and this is certainly the case but I think that you will get a much richer reading experience if you start with book 1. So much has happened to Simon and Vic and people and ghosts who we met in the previous books impact on Loose Ends. We have an old enemy reappearing and ghosts who

Wow! What a roller-coaster of a ride! Action, intensity, intrigue, magic, evil and so much more. I really love the combination of thepsychic medium and homicide detectives working together. The whole witch community is pretty awesome too. I am so enjoying how their relationship continues to grow and we learn more about our favorite dual.

Vic and Simon are combustible with amazing connection and just the best care of love for each other. I really enjoy this couple and am so glad that we got this
This is fast becoming a favorite series. Both to read and on audiobook. It was lovely to read about Simon and Vic's latests adventure, although this one was a lot more personal. It also hit close to home. The theme throughout the book was (broken) partnerships. Both in a good and negative sense. We also dug a bit deeper into Simon's family and past relationship.

Unlike the other books, there were more aspects to the story. There was the main mystery of Vic's malicious stalker/past, Simon's

Have to agree with a previous reviewer, that these books are just getting better and better. I really enjoy reading paranormal books but it is often hard to find one with a unique approach to its story telling...this is not an issue with this series, all of the books have been truly engaging reads from beginning to end! The characters are three dimensional, sympathetic and you find yourself involved in their stories from the outset and desperate to find out more.

Ms Brice's writing is so good.

Loose Ends is another fantastic book in the Badlands series. Readers get to enjoy stories of past loves and betrayals as Simon deals with the ghost problems around Myrtle Beach. But along with haunts and ghosts and premonitions, we get to see Simon and Vic grow as people. We learn some more about their parents and about their past relationships and how that has shaped who they are and how they feel about love and each other. It is also heartwarming how much their friends and colleagues support ...more

Never Let Go

The ghosts in this book may make me rethink amusement parks but the lovers were so sweet. Simon and Vic have some serious thoughts on their minds. I loved seeing the trust and bond they have with each other. The more I learn about Simon’s past, the happier I am he’s with Vic. Plus, Vic’s such a lovable teddy bear. They make me so happy and are an unbeatable team.

Even in such an idyllic setting danger lurks and Simon and Vic are in its sights. It’s a good thing Simon has some
I Loved It!

This was the first book I've read by M. Brice so I've got a whole lot to look forward to... first of all the three books in this series!

I love the characters...especially Vic and Simon...though Vic's family and all their friends certainly added to the plot. I pitied the awful life Jacen and Gloria were living. Especially as you experienced the way they attempted to ruin those around them.

I loved the ghosts...especially Louis (Luis) and Dante. Their actions during the book made me hope

I received this book as part of an ARC review. This series keeps getting better. At first I though the book would be about the Slitter case but only in the background. Instead as Simon and Vic individually consider the next step in their relationship, other relationships reveal themselves as good and bad. Simon deals with the ghostly ones and helps solve a cold case. Unfortunately those are the easy ones. Both Simon's ex pushed by his mother and Vic's ex come out of the woodwork. While Simon's ...more

I love this series, and Simon and Vic are one of my favorite book couples. This one is action-packed and full of danger. Both men have to deal with exes, with varying degrees of drama; but their love and devotion for each other never wavers. Vic and Simon have to deal with so much, but they are surrounded by wonderful friends who never let them down. I love Vic's healthy and happy work relationships, and I adore the people in Simon's life who care for and respect him. The ghosts are pretty ...more
