DEV Surlok's workshop is forbidden territory, but my curiosity gets the best of me. One quick peek can't hurt, right?
Wrong.
The shiny device I pick up hums to life and conjures a vortex. A horned, savage monster reaches through with his sharp claws and pulls me into his alien world.
Now I'm stranded light years from home, completely at the mercy of this gorgeous beast. His dominant gaze and broad, scarred chest are making my stomach flutter...
I have to find my way home -- before I lose my heart in this alien place.
FEBAKUR She is the one.
The one that will heal me. That will save me. That will complete me.
Kysus burns and my brothers are missing. I have failed my people, but this curvy, human female gives me hope. She offers me a chance to redeem myself.
I must win her over -- before the feral beast inside of me takes over.
FERAL is the fourth book in the steamy Sci-Fi Romance series Warriors of Kaizon, by Luna Hunter. Each book follows a different couple and can be read as a standalone. No cheating, HEA guaranteed!
I thought this book would be a lot better than it wasn’t especially because it takes place on the Kaizon home world. Alas the story went at light speed and between the consistent errors it was hard to truly enjoy it. Once again the love is super insta-fast and within pages the characters are getting it on. I wish there was a bit more story about the planet and the remaining ppl but I think it was vague perhaps because the youngest brother and king is still there and we as readers will return there for his story. Either way even just some added interactions with ppl on the planet would have been pleasing but we don’t really get that. I’ll continue to read the series, I’m curious to see where it all will go.
If you haven’t had a chance to start this series, let me first say they are fast, easy reads for me and they are hawt! Feral is just as smexy and steamy as the previous books. Quick recap: Dev wakes up one morning, realizing that all her ‘girls’ are pairing up with Kaizon warriors. She’s feeling a bit…depressed but she tries to go thru the motions on this particular day. She oversteps and enters Surlock’s workshop, picks up a device and boom! She’s back on Kysus, the homeworld for those Kaizons. Febakur is another brother of the warriors, left behind when three of his brothers head to earth. He is being held prisoner and being tortured by Ibaler De’Riv, the current head of the nasty beasts on Kysus. Dev and Feb (as she comes to call him) fight to defeat Ibaler and return Dev to earth. For me, it’s a fun plot with lots of sexy times. My escape from reality for the day!
This book is just as fast paced as the others but the multiple grammatical errors made it hard for me to focus. I do wish the author would have described the battle in the city more. I found it to be am important part of how they got home. I also am not happy that there are only six books in this series when there are 8 brothers. I feel like the author missed a major opportunity there for an 8 book series. I did not like at all how we were told Zoey ended up with another one of the brothers. One sentence. Are you kidding me? She almost dies in the first book and that's all the effort the author put into her love life and HEA. That's pathetic. Zoey deserved a whole story just like the others.
This series is a lot of fun. The characters are over the top. The sex is kinky & raunchy. The situations are ridiculous. It’s just all around fun. Whoever is responsible for proofing is sorely lacking in grammatical knowledge. In one passage it should say, bit by bit, instead it reads “bit by but.” Not a big deal, but really it’s just annoying.
Wow I’m loving this whole series and this is just another one that is written so well for being a quick read that I read it all in one sitting. Dev and Febakur’s story is amazing and takes you on a journey from instant love to sacrificing it all to be with that one person that completes you above all others. Dev accidentally activates Surlok time travel device when she goes to take out the gem stone inside that belongs to her and a blue light appears and she gets pulled through by an evil man and ends up on what she believes is Surlok home planet Kysus. But once there her eyes dart around the room and land on a beautiful beat up Kaizon man in a cage and when there eyes meet he is up and ripping the chains off that had held him captive the man holding her backs away not believing what he is seeing and keeps repeating over and over again how can you be so strong after I’ve starved you even though he doesn’t understand he attacks the one that was chained up but the evil one is to slow and is defeated easily. But he will never know that it’s your fated nera or mate to us humans that gives him this inner strength to fight. Thinking to himself now is not the time to wonder on such things he must save his mate from Ibalen R’Riv or they both die so he grabs her and throws her over his shoulder and takes off running. Do they make it out alive and can the get the device to work again so Dev can get back to earth, read this book to find out more. I voluntarily read an arc copy of this book for an honest review.
This was a nice change for the series to end up taking place for the majority on the home world of the Kaizons. It was a nice change of pace. I’d like to have seen more happen on the home world though. It’s going to be interesting to see how the bad guys book ends up! Sounds like he’s potentially up next! What happened to the girls passing out from the seed? I noticed that wasn’t made as big of a deal in this addition or the previous. This series is shorter and has some potential. Hoping the author gets back on track. Two stars for the unrealistic characteristic that most all of the heroines are overweight. (I’m not fat shaming! I have some weight to drop!) But the fact that these girls and pretty much most people on earth are starving and there’s no grocery store anymore, it’s just not believable they’d all be over weight pretty much. Perhaps one could have a medical condition or be a larger scale body type, but it sounds like they’re all to some degree not really in shape. How? They’re basically eating berries! I like heroines to come in a variety in series.
This is the fourth book in the Warriors of Kaizon series. These are nice short stories that contain hot, possessive, dominant alien men. You need to start with book one in order to understand everything that is happening in both worlds. Dev transports herself accidentally to the planet of Kysus. She sees a wild disheveled alien chained. The alien happens to be Febakur, the brother to the other Kaizon that now live on Earth. Their enemy Ibalen De'Riv is trying to take over the planet. When he sees the portal that Dev comes through he decides that all of the females on Earth will be his. It ends with a little cliffhanger that leads into the next book. Hopefully the next story will be available soon.
Agghhhhhhhhb!!!!!! These books just keep getting better. They’re all standalones but it does help to read them in order to know who’s who and the what’s happened previously. In this book, Dev goes poking her nose where it doesn’t belong and accidentally opens a portal back to the alien planet of kysus—where she’s promptly sucked in.
There she encounters Febu, who has been captured, enchained and tortured. All it takes is one look at her and febu knows this is his fated mate. He draws from the power of that connection to escape and grab her. The challenge will be to keep her alive on a planet ravaged by war and desperate for women.
It was sooooo good and I could’ve cried when I realized I have to wait for the next book in the series.
This is a very short story that is more to move the story forward, although another female and a Kaizon do end up together. All of the books are standalone stories, but reading all of them will help you understand the overall storyline. This book is ok, I liked the first two books better since more time was spent on the relationship between the main characters. In this book, they went from zero to one hundred immediately - Talk about insta-love! Unfortunately, this book was rushed to publication and there are a number of spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. This is something I didn’t expect from Luna Hunter, and it is disappointing.
Bought From KINDLE UNLIMITED Title: FERAL Series: Warriors of Kaizon-#4 Release Date: #AlreadyReleased Author: Luna Hunter Reviewer: Ingrid Stephanie Jordan Serial: Standalone, No Cliffhanger Genre: #SciFi #Alien #4Stars🌟⭐🌟🌟 •••••••••••••• 💢 This is a cute little book, I would have like a little more action but all in all I like it.
🔹️ Febakur is a Alien who is fighting with his brothers for there planet.
🔹️Dev is a human who is transported to the war torn planet where she finds the other half of her soul.
I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest! This was a great book ! Dev regret picking up the device from Surlock's workshop. Now she is stranded on Kysus. Febakur is so over being tortured by Ibaler. Now, they will join forces to defeat Ibaler and return back to Earth. Loved the characters + the storytelling ! It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book!
I did like the storyline, there were a lot of grammatical errors, but not my biggest issue here. The characters kept changing. First there were 8 brothers, but by the 4th book, the twins are not even mentioned. The youngest brother from book 2 is no longer the youngest by book 3.. I found it difficult to continue past all of these changes. I have to decide now if I even want to read book 5 as it is the mortal enemy of the brothers.. I may have continued if it were one of the brothers..
We now have the next installment in the Warriors of Kaizon series. I love how quickly they are being released. Patience is not one of my strong points. However, I do wish they were longer. I hate that I can finish them in one night. But that I think is indicative of a good story...you just don't want it to end.
This book felt like a lukewarm water. It was very fast-paced. The characters took no time to profess their love for each other. There’s a time travel plot thrown into it but they were in and out of there pretty quickly.
Honestly if you wanted a short, steamy read with no drama then this book is going to be up your alley. It’s just too bad I wasn’t in that kind of mood.
This is installment #4 in the Kaizon series. It is short like #3. It ends on a cliffhanger as the villain is not dead and is seeking revenge. Interestingly it seems the first Kaizon-human baby seemed to be born quickly, but the second female seems to be pregnant forever. Also there is no mention of brother #8. He seems to have disappeared.
This book was very enjoyable and can be read in just over an hour. This is Dev's story. She accidentally is transported to Kaysus and she meets her mate. It is a fast paced, action filled, steamy story. There are several typos as if it was rushed. I do wish the author would edit before releasing this series. However, the errors don't take away from the story.
An exciting continuation of the series! This book begins deceptively calm, but amps up quickly and turns into a non-stop and intense action-adventure. I was mesmerized by the chemistry the characters had, the constant action, and the explosive sexual chemistry between Dev and her alien. This story was crazy, sexy and cool, and I totally hate the bad guy, can't wait to read the next one!
The characters are intense. I’m kind of confused on why the king just left his kingdom behind for his brothers to take care of. I hope this will be addressed because honestly I don’t want to think that V being a jerk. The brothers seem cool and I want to see a more involved story with them on Earth.
The fourth book in the Warriors of Kaizon series a well written story that I enjoyed reading. This is human and Febakur's story he has been captured and tortured by Ibalen, there story has suspense, drama, danger, a villain, and romance. I want to read the next book. I read a copy of this book through KU and I am voluntarily reviewing.
The story continues with Febakur meeting the human Dev his nera. Nothing new as far as an immediate attraction between the two. Cliff hanger with an alien enemy brought to earth...and the story continues. Just two brothers left to find their true loves.
Lots of sentences that didn’t make sense. Feels like it was written in a hurry, without anyone doing edits before publication. I really like this series but with all the mistakes it got to be frustrating
