Growing up in the western Toronto-area suburb of Brampton, Ontario, Dave never figured he'd become a published book author.

In fact, back in Grade 7, the overweight kid with zero confidence thought his future career would be as a professional gasoline pumper at your local station.

Well, since then, he became a Canadian national television sports reporter, freelance entertainment print journalist, basketball podcast co-host and published book author.

During his career, he covered many NBA, MLB and NHL games while speaking with various former/current stars such as Hockey Hall of Fame member, Wayne Gretzky, 2000 NBA Slam Dunk Champion, Vince Carter and Baseball Hall of Fame pitcher, Pedro Martinez.

Dave also interviewed countless celebrities including Beyonce Knowles, Jamie Foxx and Canadian astronaut, Chris Hadfield.

Not bad for a kid who thought pumping gas would be his end game.

These days, Dave is a basketball, baseball, movie, pop culture nerd who lives just outside of Toronto with his lovely bride and continues to work on fun book projects.

love the book .
this book is about the debut of the team .
i was not a fan yet at that time, i started to be in 2018, and i just discover how interesting the Raptors was, every game was something unique.
And love the players. this change drastically, we lost all my favorites players , we still have Chris Boucher. i read the book the heart of a superfan Nav Bhatia.alway looking for him in,

An awesome book on the Raptors. Easily a favourite. This book goes through all the high points in the Raptors franchise. From the Damon, Carter, and Bosh days to the trades and inevitable leaving Toronto’s best franchise players. It is full of stats, memorable dates, coaches, GMs and even has a list of things that are recommended for a Raptors fan to do such as meet a Raptor and go to Jurassic part. A cool read.

A great look back at the life of the Toronto Raptors. A lot of interesting stories and stats. Quite an enjoyable read from an author who is obviously a very passionate fan of both the Raptors and the sport of basketball.
