This book on Los Angeles includes day-by-day guides to help organize your activities.

It is done in four-color and offers dozens of neighborhoods and thematic tours with bulleted maps and photos.

You can find star ratings for all hotels, restaurants, and attractions.


You can also find sample one-to-three day itineraries that include tours of the city’s best architecture and best sites for film lovers.

Along with the book, there is a fold-out map.

This was an older copy of the book so I mostly used it as a reference, which still helped. If I wanted to have the most current details on restaurants and hotels I would need a newer edition.
