The illustrations are amazing! But I wanted a little more from this book... it just wasn’t memorable. I read it earlier in the day and say down to write the review just now, and I honestly couldn’t remember much other than that “it was an encouragement book.” But, worth it for the illustrations.

Move over, Dr. Seuss's Oh, The Places You'll Go! This bright and happy book is a great gift to give your milestone makers! Affirming and positive with cheerful, understanding animals rooting you on--you'll feel ready for seizing the day, whatever it may hold!

GO GET 'EM, TIGER! is a brightly colored and delightful picture book of encouragement. The book features a tiger ("you") who is forging its own way, finding new friends, and even changing its stripes when it feels like it. Illustrations with lots of neon colors and cute animals fill every page.

What I loved: The book has a simple message of being who you are, sharing kindness, and forging your own path in life. The pages are filled with adorable animals, neon colors, and plenty of fun details that make it visually pleasing, especially for young readers who will be drawn in by the illustrations. The text is rhyming and takes a tone similar to OH, THE PLACES YOU'LL GO with plenty of motivation and cheering attitude.

Final verdict: A rhyming and delightfully colorful book, GO GET 'EM, TIGER! is encouragement for a new generation that will be an enduring gift to celebrate milestones. Young children will definitely enjoy this uplifting message with the bold illustrations.

Please note that I received a review copy. All opinions are my own.

Amazing cover art, but it's misleading: not a proper "story" at all, just a series of phrases championing the reader again & again...for what? Anything, I guess. (Note: sticker on the front states, "The PERFECT gift for every milestone!")

Feels similiar to Seuss's book, "Oh, the Places you'll Go!" but with dayglo colors and modern-stylized kawaiiesque art. Not suitable for storytime; more suitable for a 1st grade "graduation ceremony."

Themes: tigers, animals
Ages: 1-2nd grade?
Pub year: 2020

Such cute/pretty illustrations! The rhythm made me want to read it as a cheer.

I think this would be better in its board book format. The book uses a lot of idioms, which makes me think that it is more appropriate for a little that isn't listening to the words. A lot of this would seem like nonsense to a three-year-old.

... But I can't get enough of those adorable illustrations!

This book is full of inspirational messages and, despite its picture book format, is clearly intended as a gift to graduates. The neon colors are practically too bright to look at and its text is cheesy, but the book is fun and fulfills its purpose.

I bought this for my nephew and don't want to give it to him. ❤. I am also a childrens picture book author and was inspired by well written message of enthusiasm. The art was beautiful and vibrant and went well with the cheery message this book provides.

I enjoyed this book much more than I expected, especially because it's written rhyme (not my favorite). But the message resonates in an authentic way and I love the pop and power of the illustrations.

The first book I ever read to my baby. A heartfelt message about embracing individuality and following the beat of your own drum. Full of fun rhymes and beautiful art, its message is simple but effective: be proud of yourself and keep moving forward.

The bright, neon color scheme is adorable in this book! It's not so much a story as a bunch of positive affirmations and encouragement, which is very darling and would make it a great gift book.

some of the pages are a little overwhelming which makes the text a little harder to find right away, but the overall message is so positive, i finished the book with a smile on my face!

"Oh the Places You'll go" without Dr. Seuss and fantastical creatures. Instead we have a Tiger alongside other animals. This is very much a 'rah rah' book to inspire and encourage.

Great book! This would be a great one for gift giving. I could see it being a contender with Oh the Places You’ll Go by Dr. Seuss. It would be a sweet gift for births or graduation gifts.
