Middang3ard #3

It’s My Party

Rate this book

What if what J.R.R. Tolkien taught us about the dangers of Middle-Earth was just the beginning?

Against insurmountable odds, the Mundanes have launched a daring rescue for Beth. Luckily, they’re not alone … the Horsemen are with them.

But luck might not get them that far, though. Beth is being held deep within the heart of the Dark One’s territory.

What if Demons weren’t just Demons, but something much worse?

Now they’ve found themselves deep in the Dark One’s headquarters, without backup or a chance to retreat. It’s all or nothing. And what’s worse, the Dark One is preparing to launch a final assault that will destroy all the remaining worlds, including Earth.

As if rescuing Beth wasn’t hard enough.

Do the Mundanes and Horsemen have what it takes to not only save Beth, but also the worlds? All nine of them?

Surviving Middang3ard just got a lot harder.

Painful to read

The story I like but having to put up with the idiot talk all through the books about dicks and fucking is almost painful and irritating. For one thing, people don't talk like that, occasionally, not constantly. If your readers were only boys 18 and younger, fine. But your readers are a mixed group. And everyone should know you don't talk guy locker room in mixed company. It's not even consistent with your characters. They are adults, except for Stew, he I can see is a stupid meathead and you would expect him to talk like a idiot. But you even say how they don't want to listen to the two, fucking all the time, peoplr do not want to hear about it, except for dick obsessed boys, women for the most part dont talk like that. Why would they, they arent obsessed with your dick, you are, its your body part, your drive think about it so much. Your aduience isnt just horny boys. Normal young don't talk like that unless they are feather heads. Anyway, its cheap and easy to write. I could write dialogue like that. A sense of humor isn't cheap dick jokes. That's only appropriate if you are in the marines. Not out of, only when you in. This message is directed to MA, not you Ramy. He is just a bad influence on writers with his poor habits. Sorry for the rant. I'm trying to enjoy these books but i want to poke my eyes out with the endless drivel. The rest of it is good

Alert

I hate trying to write reviews because there are really only pass/fail results for me. Did I make it all the way through? Yes? 5 stars. No? There would be nothing here to read. In all fairness, if an author holds my attention from page one to the end, they’ve done their job. Anything less than 5 stars is petty criticism from someone incapable of even doing the job let alone doing a better one.

So in respect for the author and their work, I am going to start pasting this along with a generic review I found somewhere. “This was a fun book. I am glad that I read it. You should try it too.”

Cheers

Cheers to all game conspiracy!

Really, reading this book fully implanted the seed of doubt: did the creators of the games I played really some very old wizard with a mission?

This story is about our intrepid trio going to rescue Beth the missing member of the Mundanes. But wait, the Horsemen will be joining them on their quest. Lots of mayhem ensues, undercover in the Dark One's camp. The tale winds up with a battle royale against the best of the Dark One's minions. Great story, about to get started on the finale

Yeah that was an amazing final book to this story Arc

Always sad to hit the end of a set of stories, but this was really enjoyable. A lot of action. A lot of drama, a lot of humor. Definitely worth the time to read. Glad I stumbled upon this. Trying to read more from another series that occurred in the same universe. This was a gem for sure

It only gets better

Most series get tiresome, or just tired, as they progress. This story does not. It has maintained it's nuance band grown. Nice.

A satisfying end to this story arc.

Lots of action, some tears, some raunchy laughs, questions answered and love discovered. All in all a very satisfying book.

The third book in the Middang3ard trilogy.

It is time for the big showdown between the forces of good and evil. Or maybe it is just a rescue mission to save their missing friend.

This is a wham, bam, conclusion to the trilogy. It is a lot of fun.

There is a boxed set that collects the 3 books if you want them all together in one place.

A good story!!!

Action, lost love found, a terrible bad guy beaten on, what could be better?? For the pain pill I took to kick in. No comfortable position, I'm such a crybaby.

The saga continues

It’s My Party continues with action, laughs, angst, friendship, and unusual solutions to crazy situations. Secrets are coming out, and the Mundanes have a lot of work to do. Of course, crazy doesn’t begin to describe the chaos and completely unexpected surprises that ambush the reader. We’re being taken on a journey by the seat of our pants, destination: unknown!

On a personal note, I can relate to Suzuki as an over-thinker as I am one, too. The perceived flaws can also be strengths, which is important to remember.

Will the Dark One fall....

I have really enjoyed reading this installment! The characters seem like friends now - friends that I'll miss when this series ends. (So make more books in this series please!) Please continue writing more of these stories as you are good at it. This easy to slip into story will make you lose time as you cannot put it down! Pick it up & make some friends-true adventures await!

Not even remotely mundane

The entire Middang3ard series is fantastic. The imagery provided is exceptional, and the characters are relatable (minus the magic of course). As a member of Ramy Vance's other literary GoneGod world, I knew it would be great. I was wrong. It was phenomenal! Book 4???

Best

The third book in the series and I think the best so far. Lots of action in this one and some surprises too. I hope we're going to get at least a couple more books in this series.
