my book is elaine and the flying frog and I like it so much it's about a project and they trying of make a frog fly and so they put it on a kite and they drawer a picture of the frog on top of the kite and it was green and elania dad help them build the kite and the class love it and the other student liked it so much they wanna to fly it in the sky because they ask do it fly? and elaine is a new student and met new friends and she love going to the creek and see frogs jumps up and down and Mary Lewis love elaine as a,friend

This is a cute story about a third grade girl who adapts to moving from San Francisco to Iowa. As she makes new friends, she shares parts of her Chinese American culture.

The publishing date for this edition specifies 1948, which I believe to be incorrect, but I cannot find conclusive proof of the actual date. The book reads like something from the 1980s or 1990s, and other publishing dates specify 1988 and 1993.
