“Hearts aren’t designed for games. They need truth. They need reality.”

Whiskey Trick is about the no luck in love Henry, the older brother of the hero from Whiskey Chick, and Tina. A woman who had a rough night out with friends after seeing her ex. One mistaken Uber leads to pretend dating to try to fix the problems the both of them have in dating/relationships. I enjoyed this one, because at first it’s a little hard to see the gem that Henry is. It’s like we fall for him as Tina does. It’s quic
Cute, funny, original, and a real page turner! Henry was not your typical smooth romance hero with all the right moves--he was a little old fashioned and straight laced and thought things out too much instead of going with the flow. But that just made him more interesting. And with Tina's help (they agreed to 'fake date'... to help each other out), showing him what he was doing wrong and why he couldn't get a woman....and with Henry helping Tina become 'more assertive', you just hoped these two ...more

It was an overall decent read but it definitely wasn't on par with "Whiskey Chick". The romance was too fast paced and rushed to me, and before I knew it the "L" dropped which I'm never in favor of

This book is about Henry, the older brother of the hero from Whiskey Chick and if you read that one you'd know Henry came across as rather obsessed with his ex so it's no surprise to find that he's unlucky in love. One night a group of drunk women get in his car after mistaking it for their uber which ultimately leads to Henry getting the number of Tina, who agrees to fake date him in order for both of them to improve their dating skills.

This was so much fun to read! I loved Henry as

Ryan Ringbloom’s writing keeps the reader on their toes with a story that isn’t predictable...witty banter, laugh out loud scenes and an incredibly entertaining storyline had me reading this book in one sitting!

Henry is immersed in the world of dating, trying to find his other half after being blindsided when his long term relationship ended. He thinks he’s doing everything right, but unfortunately, while well intentioned, he’s oblivious to the things he’s doing all wrong!

After meeting Tina in

This was the first book of the Whiskey series that I have read and it was an ok read for me. I have read other books by Ryan Ringbloom that I really liked but this one didn’t hit the mark with me. Henry and Tina were having trouble with relationships and they thought they can help each other out. I didn’t feel any chemistry between them and this story just fell flat for me.

I received an ARC from NetGalley and I am voluntarily leaving a honest review.

I hope all of you are having a wonderful end to your week since it’s Friday!! So. The name of the book threw me off for sure. I kind of thought this book would have bars and cowboys and the farm in it. I was definitely wrong, 😂! It was so great! And near the end of the novel you find out why it is actually called Whiskey Trick and I thought it was pretty clever. It’s definitely not a raunchy kind of novel as it focuses more on the relationship of the two characters and how they are feeling. It a ...more

This book was such a surprise to me. This was witty, sweet, endearing, funny and so much adorableness with these two. Tina(Trick) and Henry meet one night but he needs her to figure out why his relationships aren't working out. These two go on fake dates to figure out what he's doing wrong but in return, they're falling completely head over heels for each other. They are perfect together. Henry is so oblivious to certain social cues but thats dealing with his job, and he just is so excited to go ...more

I absolutely love it when an author takes an otherwise irredeemable character and makes them shine! Henry was such a cringe-worthy dude in the previous novel of this series, Whiskey Chick, but he's so perfectly lovable in his very own book! And there's no better woman for him than Tina! Their story made me laugh, still cringe a time or two, but most importantly, I was so happy to see them get the HEA they both deserved! Onto the next installment! I absolutely love this fictional world Ms. Ringbl ...more

I love this series! I didn't even know there was another book coming out! I was happily surprised Henry got his own book. Not only that, but I loved his story and how Whiskey tied into it in an adorable way! Ryan Ringbloom's writing is fun and sassy. she tells a story in a fun way, that makes me love all of her book, and I don't love most books in a series. This one work.Good Job Ryan Ringbloom!!

Whiskey Trick wasn't as funny as the first two books but still it was entertaining, and I enjoyed the sweet romance between Henry and Tina.

This is a light hearted funny book!
It was a great short read.

Tina is sick of dating seriously! Every guy is an a**hole in her opinion. She writes Fortune cookie inserts for a living and owns her own home. She is a normal woman but for the life of her can’t find Mr. right. One night her and her two friends go out to the bar and she happens to see the guy she has gone on a few dates with enjoying his night with another girl. She gets hammered and her and

After meeting Tina in a very unconventional way, a relationship of sorts is started, better known as “beta dating”...she’s giving him dating do’s and don’ts while he’s helping her to be more assertive. But it’s when things start to c

Lawwwd, you’ve just gotta love Henry, LOL.

And it’s so cool that after meeting him (and his equally borderline obnoxiously clueless & adorable ways) in “Whiskey Chick” that this luckless-in-love dude finally gets his chance at a HEA.

Tina, about as lucky in love as Henry, with her sassy, sarkily descriptive inner dialogue is modern chick gold and exactly what Henry needs to put a few wrinkles in his neatly pressed life.

Fake dating with a twist I’ve not often read, their story makes a nice change u
Whiskey Trick is a cute, fluffy contemporary which was everything I had been looking for.
Mutual pining + a lot of angst and some fake dating cliché, it was a fun book to read!

I ended up devouring this whole book in one sitting which was actually quite a surprise for me since I need to take breaks while reading a book.

Henry is still thinking of Sasha, his ex from 3 years ago and is unable to move onto second dates.
So, he decides to ask Tina, a girl who had been whining about how her ex was an

I waited too long to review this book, and now I don’t even remember reading it . . . I’m not sure if this says more about me or about my take away from the book.

*briefly skims through the book again*

I’m not sure if I had to read the rest of the series to understand anything in Whisky Tricks, but I’m guessing not. Maybe little tidbits but nothing crucial was lost.

Henry was so dull. He had no personality whatsoever. And honestly, Tina felt a little two dimensional, too. And the actual “whiskey tr

That whiskey can be T.Ricky!

Henry can’t get past the first date ... even though he’s good looking, has a great job, and a great life. So when he meets Tina the night she gets dumped, he makes her an offer she can’t refuse. She tells him what he’s doing wrong on dates and he’ll help her be more assertive and not let guys walk all over her. Easy peasy ... right?

This is a cute romance that will have you laughing. I read the first book in the series and loved it, but I didn’t read the book where you

I started a few other romances and none of them had the writing "zing" that kept me engaged. I was basically flipping through the first few pages of books like a channel surfer. It wasn't until I saw Whiskey Trick was available from NetGalley that I knew I needed to jump on this. I had previously read Whiskey Chick and, enjoyed it so much, I had hopes this would be an entertaining read. OMG. It surpassed my expectations! Henry was just a tool in Chick. I mean, clearly, we were meant to root for ...more

What another FABULOUS book. Man...I wish more people were aware of her writing and books. She never disappoints. I finished this extremely quickly. I started it late yesterday and read when I should have slept and then I finished it when I should have been working. *shhhh that's out secret* Honestly, if I didn't have things I needed to get done before I leave, I would start Whiskey Flick. Guess I know what I'll be doing tonight and this weekend.

I love this series! They are the perfect quick, funny reads that I need when I have a book hangover from too many emotionally draining romances. I am a sucker for fauxmances and this one has an interesting variation of that trope with the Beta dating scenario. To be honest when I saw that this book was going to be about Henry I wasn't that excited. I thought he was boring in Whiskey Chick so I wasn't sure where the laughs were going to come from Ryan Ringbloom knows how to deliver a fun, lighthe ...more

I really loved this book!! It was a funny and sexy new take on the millions of pretend dating stories out there. Both clueless at dating Henry and Tina are perfect to set each other straight on what they've been doing wrong, for the next person, right? I love that they're so right for each, yet the last ones to realize it. New to the whiskey series I absolutely love how it makes an appearance. Definitely going to check out the rest of them now.

Whiskey trick is the third in the series and this time we have Henry’s story. He’s trying to date and move on with life but he’s stuck. Dates don’t go well and well he’s lonely. Tina is tired of bad guys and not standing up for herself. When a mistaken identity happens and Henry is thought to be an Uber things will get interesting. A proposal is thrown out and these two will embark on a series of dates to better themselves. But of course we have some old characters and whiskey involved nothing w ...more

Thank you netgalley for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
So I couldn't get into this romance novel that promised to be funny and entertaining. Henry was too uptight and did too much on first dates. Tina is supposed to help him have better dates but ends up falling for him instead.i didn't feel the natural chemistry between them. Henry was too annoyingly self conscious making this novel difficult to get through. I just prefer my heros with more confidence.

I loved Henry’s whiskey story. Henry hasn’t had the best of luck with women. My heart broke with how he really just wanted to find the “one”. It all starts out with a little mistake and then I was laughing at Henry’s adventure to not be an asshole. This story was cute, sweet, a little angsty and funny as well. I love this entire dysfunctional family. Reminds me of my own!

I’ve been in a reading slump lately, not finishing anything in the last six months. But once I started reading Whiskey Trick, I couldn’t put it down. Literally. I remembered Henry from Whiskey Chick as being a very type-A person so I enjoyed watching his growth alongside ‘Trick’.
This story is clever, funny, witty, real, and absolutely addicting. A must read!

Tina and Henry have such a cute story is was fun watching them pretend to date but having them call each other flaws out as they go on. It honestly seems the best way to date someone. Even though Henry was kind of a douche in the beginning he definitely worked his way to be an amazing guy. Overall really good book
