I was a blessed vampire queen until the day I decided to kill my king.
Now I’m a captive of alpha wolves, rulers of the Luxa Pack, and it is no place for a vampire. They decide to keep me as a slave on this strange land across the sea, and no part of me ever wants to go back to my home. I ran from my world, from my people, and from everything I had ever known to a world much darker than I ever thought possible. I crave their blood, they crave my immortality. They also want my heart, and if they knew who I really was...they would want my throne.
Dark Romance 18+ WARNING: Contains dark themes not for the faint of heart.
G. Bailey is a USA Today bestselling author of books that are filled with everything from dragons to pirates. Plus, fantasy worlds and breath-taking adventures. Oh, and some swoon-worthy men that no girl could forget. G. Bailey is from the very rainy U.K. where she lives with her husband, two children and three cheeky dogs.
Vampire Captive is the third and final book in The Alpha Brothers series.
Rather than following Elodie’s story throughout, this time the story is from Arilee’s POV and includes Elodie’s twin sons - Jath and Tiryn.
This Dark RH Romance series, did get better throughout the series and the third book was my favourite of the three books. It definitely lived up to the dark romance name, as I thought it was a little darker to begin with than the previous books. But there was a HEA.
Okay so if you are a fan of G. Bailey then I am sure you know of the No Alpha and No Claim. Which features Elodie and her Alpha Brother mates. Imagine my delight in knowing that Vampire Captive is about Elodie's Twin Sons Jath and Tiryn. I love stories like this where we not only get to see glimpses of our favorite characters down the road, but get to see what their kids are like. And holy hotness!!! These boys are naughty!!
So our main female lead is Ari, she has had such a bad time of it lately. Her parents are killed, she has been taken over by the new king. He treats her very badly. Besides beating/having his way with her, he has made it known that he will kill her once he gets an heir. Did I mention that Ari is a vampire? Yeah, I loved this little spin on this. She is a great lead, confused with what is happening, around her and just really trying to find a safe place to land.
The Twins, Jath and Tiryn, are different even though they look the same. One is definitely sweeter than the other. You will find that out quickly. One thing is for sure, now that they have found Ari, they will not let her go. Even though they may not be able to keep her.
The storyline is a great one, where their species knew of the other one. But a bond knows it's other half, and they will let nothing get in the way of their love. The pace is fast, and since the story is not long, a lot happen in a short amount of time. Overall, I highly recommend this series for any supernatural fan, or just G. Bailey fan.
The beautiful red headed vampire queen and her alpha twin mates. Loved this story. The alpha brothers and Elodie play a small part. Perfect happy ending. Couldn’t put this book down.
This is the final book to the Alpha Brothers series, it was a short read so I read this in an hour or two. I enjoyed Ari and Jath but the same couldn’t be said about Tiryn. I didn’t like him as much as I thought I would but again it was a good smut read.
Action, adventure, choices, horror, pain blood, and finally happiness. We get to see the alpha twins all grown up and making the choices their parents were force to make many years ago. Finding love, admitting their feeling, finding out deep dark secrets of each other's past. And still finding the time and heart to heal and love. To rebuild what was once lost. I loved this book and it saddens me to see this series come to an end. But as they say "all good things must come to an end" as we bid fair well to these lovely and unforgettable characters.
I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.
I don't know why I was surprised that this was focused on a before when the first book was so focused on wolves. I know the author writes about both supernaturally often, but maybe because vampires weren't mentioned in the first book.
Either way, I still enjoyed this story and I'm glad I got to read it. I love seeing Elodies sons and what kind of men they grew up to be. Arilee is a great, strong female and I loved seeing her fight for what she deserved.
I really enjoyed this book and loved the characters and how they came together. I am glad that Elodies boys were able to find their mate even if she turned out to be a vampire.
When I started reading this book I didn't realise it was in the Alpha Brothers world but I love that we got another glimpse.
The story starts with a bang and continues it's darkish and interesting story all the way through, never once letting me be bored.
It is a shorter book but if you have read the Alpha Brothers series, it's around the same length as those books (I highly recommend reading them before this book for maximum enjoyment).
The characters have an instant connection and fall in love very quickly as only mates can, but I did like that they were choosing to be mates and it wasn't so much spelled out that they had a mate bond from the get-go. The steamy scenes could have been a little longer, in the sense that they all seemed very frenzied and hurried and it consequently ended quickly, if you get my drift 😉.
I know at the end of this book G. says that's the end of the Alpha Brothers world but I'm super curious about Faye's story and really hope that we get her story one day!
Overall, this is a quick and easy read that follows the same path as the previous books in this world and I love it.
Vampire Captive is the third book in the Alpha Brothers series, following Elodie's sons and their vampire mate Arilee. It is a fairly quick read filled with tons of action and romance that had me hooked from the first chapter!
Arilee's story, like Elodie's, is a dark romance with a HEA. In my opinion, Vampire Captive is a bit of a darker tale than the first two Alpha Brothers stories, and though Ari does suffer greatly, Tiryn and Jath help lead her to a brighter future.
I really enjoyed seeing some familiar characters from the first two books as well as meet these new main characters. Ari has been experienced great trauma but has a similar strength to Elodie in the previous books. We even get to see more aspects of the Alpha Brothers world including Arilee's home Arlen.
As sad as it is to see this world and its characters come to an end, Vampire Captive leaves us with a satisfying conclusion filled with happily ever afters for all of our favorite characters. I really enjoyed G. Bailey's darker RH series and hope she writes more like this in the future!
Vampire Captive is the third and final installment in The Alpha Brothers series. As someone who didn’t read the previous two books yet, I was able to follow through reading the story since it is a standalone novella, but for great reading experience I would advise reading the first two books. The story features the twin sons of Elodie (the first book main character) and Arilee, their mate.
This is a fast paced, dark romance and I loved the steam of the story. I would have wanted it to be a bit longer so I could get to know more the characters but it is still enjoyable read, in my opinion. As usual with the author, she always manages to feature the other characters from her previous books to play minor roles and sort of interconnect each world. I'm pretty sure I will still see these characters one way or another in one of the author's future series. Loved it!
Vampire Captive is a standalone novella, set in the Alpha Brothers world years after the last book and features our fav characters twin sons.
It’s a dark paranormal/fantasy, ménage, romance. As it’s a standalone it is fast paced and has a HEA ending.
It’s a novella so I liked the pace (in fact it was the perfect book to get over my current book hangover). If I could have one wish it would be to lengthen the story so I could get to know the characters more.
I love the twins they are such a good combo, such opposites, they bring different aspects to the relationship they have Ari. Ari falls in love so easily with them even given her backstory but it’s that love that gives her the strength and courage to face her fears when her past comes knocking.
This book revolves around the sons of the Alpha brothers from the No Claim books. It is interesting in that the love interest is a vampire, and the shifters have no clue what a vampire is. I was confused at times as to if the female main character was already a vampire or if she was changed into one by the man she calls her king. It seemed to flip flop back and forth as to what the case may be. The other issue I had was with how quickly they were able to redo a treaty to stop a war between the shifter packs by simply stating that Tiern and his brother's younger sister had fallen for the son of the rival pack instead of the twins having to marry the daughter of said pack. It just seemed to easy at times. The book is a short quick read and is enjoyable despite a few problems.
This is an interesting take on the Alpha Brothers. It starts out really well. Arilee is a vampire with a miserable life, so she runs. Arilee ends up on the Alpha Brothers island. This time it's their sons that find Arilee. Tiryn and Jath decide that Arilee is theirs. When they return home there is a secret the brothers have been hiding from Arilee. (Side note: I didn't like the way Elodie treats Arilee considering her past) Once Arilee learns about the secret, things get bad. Things get even worse when her past catches up with her. •••••• I recommend this book/series! •••••• ~~ I have Kindle Unlimited, and I used that service to read this book. ~~
It is so hard when you start reading such an excellent, adventurous series that will have you spellbound from the very first page that introduced you to the magical world of G. Bailey's books, never a disappointment, her books will take you away and leave you breathless and wanting more, I will really miss this series and we all cannot wait to see what wicked delights you are writing up for us to read, Bravo... This book was reviewed by a Book Loving Vixen.
***I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.*** I am a huge fan of G Bailey's books. They always hook me and keep me wanting more. This was the last book in the series and it did not disappoint! This book was amazing! I was so excited for this book as it continues the story and revolves around Elodie's twin sons. Holy Hotness! This story is nothing short of entertaining and leaves you hoping to learn more about this trio. G Bailey has done it again and kept me wanting more. I am looking forward to more books from the talented G Bailey.
This book is very much like the others in this series. I enjoy the characters and the story line. It’s a nice quick read. I wish sometimes that they were more in length because they seem to grow shorter with each new book that comes out and I seem to enjoy a more lengthy novel than I do the shorter ones. It’s still a good read and I’d recommend it, I just wish I could have gave it 5 stars but the length kept it from getting there with me.
The conclusion to this amazing series, The Alpha Brothers, instead of continuing the story of Elodie & her husbands as in books 1 & 2, book 3 follows the story of Elodie's sons J & T with a new protagonist name starts with an A. I, too, intended to stop reading this book around 4 am & get some shut eyes, however that didn't happen instead I finished the book & went to sleep later than I expected. Vampire Captive has to be read to see what many are talking about.
Ive been waiting for this forever!! I love the Alpha Brothers series!! is how i met this wonderful author g bailey ❤️ She was my first RH author and ive been hooked ever since. This story starts right where book two left off and it’s amazing!! Go and read it! Vampire and Wolves romance is a great combination, especially with this trio! woop woop! 🔥
This was a quick, dark and intense read about the twin sons from Elodie and the Alpha brothers and I loved not only reading about Elodie and her guys but also what is happening with their sons! It is a great conclusion to this series that kept me captivated from page on till the very end. Once again G. Bailey has written a book that is full of action, intense emotions, drama and steam!
I started this book last night around 10.. I could not put it down! I only planed on reading a few chapters but that didn't happen. I had to be up at 4 but honestly it was totally worth it... and luckily this is a shorter book. But it was so good! I loved the characters. I love that this was about Elodie's sons. If you read the Alpha Brothers book you absolutely should read this one.
Arilee just wants to be free and at first it seems she has traded on prison for another but being Captive by living and deep Alpha Jath and his quiet strong twin Alpha Tiryn isn’t at all what she thought. Instead she falls deep for them and later fights to be rightfully by their side.
