Rebel Heart Books 1-3 Box Set
This box set includes the first three books in the Rebel Heart series.
Crimson Sin, Book 1
Angel blood runs through her veins.
Half human and half angel, Spike is a rare female nephilim. Like all nephilim, she's caught in the middle of the war between angels and demons. The light and the dark.
All Spike really wants to do is chase a rock star dream with her band. She's got a best friend who's a werewolf, a penchant for partying and a problem with commitment. So she's doing her best to avoid choosing a side.
Until she meets the foxy Rowen and sly devil Arrow. Nephilim like her, they're the only pair of siblings to exist among their kind. The dark is hellbent on claiming them both and she just might be the only one who can stop that from happening.
These two brothers, as different as night and day, challenge Spike to discover where she belongs in this battle. They're about to turn her world upside down.
The Spirit Room, Book 2
When the dark wants something, they go to any length to get it.
Fiery nephilim, Spike, is discovering where she stands in the war between angels and demons. When a rock scene girl turns up dead, Arrow is blamed for the crime even though he has no memory of the murder. Rowen insists Arrow is innocent but Spike fears the worst. Once she gets involved the unsettling truth is revealed.
Something big is coming. Something that has the city's dark forces more desperate than ever to have Rowen as their own. They're willing to destroy Arrow and anyone else who stands in their way. Even Spike.
When it's her life on the line, Rowen has to take action. He'll do whatever it takes to protect her but is he willing to break her heart?
Strange Fire, Book 3
A rare planetary alignment is about to occur and with it the certainty of a power play by the dark.
Time is running out. Spike knows if she's going to stop hell from being unleashed upon the city she'll have to face down the doubt that plagues her. Rowen's life hangs in the balance. Finding an unlikely ally in Arrow, Spike seeks something, anything, that will give her an advantage.
Caught between two demons with opposing agendas, she's faced with choices that will test her moral code. Spike will have to decide how far she's willing to go and what she's willing to sacrifice.

The battle between the light and the dark. Nephilims have to decide what side of the battle they want to fight for. Spike is one badass nephilim. She will sacrifice for everyone she care for. Even for the ones who choose the dark side. She has her hands full. I love all the characters. I can't wait to read more.

Spuffy
The nonstop nicknames were a hilariously bad way to establish characters. The female protagonist is called “Spike” because she used to have a Mohawk at some indeterminate point in the past. Unfortunately, it made me think of the vampire from Buffy.
