This author seems to be a new one but her style is very solid: Although this is a romantic suspense, the suspense aspect is well-researched and detailed and profound, and the romance aspect is intriguing and has deep emotional resonance.

Serendipity in Berkeley is a great read; I couldn't tear my eyes away from it. The mystery/suspense builds quickly and the romantic hero/heroine Sam and Alex have intense chemistry that arises from the beginning. The mystery has quite a few twists and keeps you
