Join the Tribe in Mystery, Alaska again as survivors of the wolf pack start appearing and chaos ensues. Blood will be shed. Betrayals will break hearts. Find out who will be left standing after all the fur starts flying.

A prince without a pack.

A woman who will fight tooth and claw for those she loves.

The day Katherine Manitok finds out werewolves are real is the day she finds out she's in love with one. When she comes home from a long day of work at the Mystery, Alaska community center, she finds a bloody and battered wolf stretched across her front porch. Except when she gets up the nerve to touch the wolf, his fur turns to skin beneath her fingertips.

Then those glowing golden eyes look up at her and she knows she's a goner.

Knox Li'Vas is alpha to a pack that no longer exists. He barely survived getting down off the mountain. And now he's risking everything to see Katherine again, but she's his shuarra--his soulmate. She glows for him and he can't leave town. His wolf won't let him. Not without her.

But how's a mostly-dead werewolf barbarian supposed to convince a woman who single-handedly runs the town's social calendar to up and run away with him so the neighborhood dragon doesn't finish him off? Oh, and she doesn't even know he's not human.

Oh, and did we mention that something is trying to kill her?

All that and more in Wolf At The Door! The exciting fifth book in the Soulmate Shifters in Mystery, Alaska series. Where you will find protective alpha heroes with fangs and fur and strong sassy heroines who are perfectly capable of saving the day without any help at all.

A fantastic addition to the Tribe in Mystery series…
This book is a continuation to the story of the tribe in mystery, the war that has been wrought between the werewolves after their attack and abduction of the dragon’s mate and the bears mate and the retribution that was handed out with dire efficiency and effect.
Katherine Manitok is aware of the abduction and also the attack that had nearly killed both women she was also aware of the shifters that now existed after they passed through a magical portal and landed on the mountainside in Mystery, Alaska. The man that she has been steadily forming a friendship with since he walked into the community centre, she helps to run, Knox is unusual he makes her feel safe and as they talk and become better acquainted, she begins to feel something deeper.
Knox has to save the few wolves that are still alive after the Tribe attacked on order of the Dragon shifter that now had become their leader which was unusual as they were a mixture of various shifters with and without mates, some with young on the way all trying to ensure their identity remained a secret from the local human inhabitants and that their community is both safe, secure and able to thrive.
As Katherine discovers that Knox is a shifter after discovering him injured on her porch she cares for him and hides him from the Tribe, she wants to stay by his side and help him to care for the few young wolves remaining, they need the guidance of an alpha and his mate but is this even possible with them being continually hunted.
Once again Katherine’s life seems to be under threat, she has endured so much and kit has made her tough and a fighter but she is only human and Knox is being torn between protecting her and his remaining pack members, if only he could talk with the dragon and discuss remaining within the area, Katherine will never leave as she is an integral part of this community.
Then a ghost from the past and once again everything is in turmoil and the focus seems to be his mate but why? He will fight for her, he will die for her, he promised her that he would not change her and he is an honest and honourable Alpha, but she is his shuarra, his soulmate.
The story has a very dramatic ending that leaves you wanting more, waiting earnestly to discover the deception and what the traitor in Knox’s pack is planning, why is he lying?
What will happen when he realises that he has been discovered?
Only the next book in the series will have the answers, I cannot wait to read it……
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

Katherine finds a badly injured wolf by her door when she touches the fur it becomes Knox.
Returning home from work Katherine notices something on her step as she pulls up. When she approaches the step she can see a wolf badly injured and covered in blood but as her hand brushes against its fur it changes into Knox the man she has seen often at the community center where she works. She gets him inside but as she tries to clean his wounds he passes out then her older neighbor comes in having seen the blood and helps her get Knox clean and tend his wounds. When he wakes he tells her that he had come to her as she is his mate.

Mystery Alaska Shifters will have your 💙🐺 🐅 🐻 🐉

I love this series so much! : soulmates, fated mates, and i knew i love you before i met you is my jam !!💙 The stakes and angs keep getting higher with each book! Action pack, romance and drama like no other! I think Katherine is my favorite female lead so far along with Ava of course! both have fallen hard for one of the “enemies” and yet the more you read you find out just how that is further from the truth. I love how the author makes a new group of anti heroes! From book one the wolves were seen as the main antagonist but the tables have turn!! Truces are made and new villains resurface! I cant wait for the next book!!! My Tiger is next! 😍

Action Packed and Heartfelt

Wolf At The Door by Krystal Shannan is the latest book in her Soulmate Shifters series set in Mystery, Alaska. After the fight between the wolves and the Tribe there are only a handful of wolves left alive. Knox finds himself alpha and pin the run. Katherine wants to be with Knox but isn't sure about him. Their story is action packed and written from the heart. It's full of mistrust, fighting, disloyalty, friendship, heartache and love. The rollercoaster ride is worth everything. Krystal has developed her own new world of mythology and each new book gets better and better. I can't wait to see what's next.

I'm starting to really not like Col. The Dragon from the first book of this series Knock Down Dragon Out.
These books are suppose to be able Redemption and forgiveness on a new planet. I just can't get on board with him thinking he is the only one to have landed on this strange planet looking for a better life.
Enough about him.
I love Knox and Elizabeth. I root for the underdog most of the time anyway. This couple has had to fight their way up their entire lives. It has not been easy for them. None the less they have prevailed against all odds.
I would recommend this book to anyone that likes PNR mixed with SFR.

3.5 stars ⭐️. The beginning of this series showed a lot of promise, and while I understand that every good book needs conflict I‘m starting to not like characters that I previously loved.
I loved Col in the first few books and I partly understand his actions but I just feel that they are mired in ignorance and a sort of shifter-racism that gets uglier with every „kill them all“ statement he makes.
They have already lost an entire planet of their people, surely he must have learnt that the way „they always did things“ isn’t the way to go forward? The fact he didn’t makes him a fool and a dangerous one at that.

REVIEW
I think out of all the Mystery Alaska books this one by far is my favorite. It's intense from the get-go. Non-stop action and intense romance. What does one do though when a dragon shifter is out to kill you and any of your pack that is left alive and you are taking the blame for something you didn't do and now the fates bring your soul mate into it?
Knox has no idea what he is doing that is obvious I found myself shaking my head at this shifter. Catherine bless her heart has been through it all when she was young and although at first, she has no idea what she has gotten herself into with Knox she shows her strength throughout. We get everyone in this story. And Katherine finds out her best friend knows more than she thought about these new people who moved into town a few months ago. Will these two keep their friendship when all comes to a blow?
I would say you could read this as a stand-alone but to know the characters I'd suggest starting with book 1.
I loved this story!!!

I am a big fan of these alien shifters and I am always eager to read each new book that releases and this one sure didn't disappoint!! Just be prepared to have your heartstrings tugged on as the story unfolds and this couple's relationship evolves and is tested. I loved it and I can't wait for the next book. This is my elective, candid review.

Knox and Katherine was an exciting read, fate pulls them together, but threat from the tribe may keep them apart. I love how the story weaves so many of the characters together continuing storylines and the fate of this species on earth. Adapting to a new world, new way of life and finding their fated mates in unexpected ways. The suspense of the underlining threat is engrossing, finding out who has been orchestrating the deceptions has been exciting. I'm loving Mystery Alaska and cant wait for more.

Wolf at the Door

Things at Mystery, Alaska is really heating up. Knox is a wolf. Unfortunately wolves are not someone the Tribe holds any love for. Knox only wants to live in peace with Katherine- his Shuarra. What will happen when danger comes? If you have read this series from book, you know how stubborn Col can be and how self-righteous. Naomi has tamed him but some things are just built into your DNA....especially if it's the DNA of a dragon. Can't wait for the next book!

Knox recognizes his soulmate and after a fierce battle, he struggles to get to her. Katherine Manitok finds a large, half-dead wolf on her porch who changes into a man. Knox now has to let Katherine know that she can trust him. She wants to be with him but doesn’t know what to believe.

The story is fast-paced with lots of action. The characters are well-portrayed and the reader can easily feel the emotions the two of them stir up. The added treat that Knox is not just a shifter but also an alien makes it even better! Grab your copy and see if there is a HEA for these two.

“Wolf at the Door” is a well-written action-packed paranormal tale of survivors and true mates. This tale is Knox and Katherine’s story. In this tale Knox is trying to bring peace between different shifter species is a rollercoaster ride of trials and tribulations, disloyalty and mistrust, along with a slew of shocking twists and unexpected turns, while finding your true mate along the way adds to the drama of this tale. I was riveted and could not stop reading this tale. I loved it.

Back in Mystery Alaska for Katherine and Knox’s story. Unfortunately Know is a wolf and the brother of the man that kidnaps a Tribe member’s mate. Even though Knox knows Katherine is his mate, how can he fix things to stay here or get Katherine to leave so they can be together. Knox has to explain the truth about shifters to Katherine, get her to accept him for who he is and work things out with Col to get his HEA.

Knox's bro was looking it and turning psycho but it's good that Knox found his life and love. Even though she's been through beyond he'll growing up she needs 2 give him a chance and truly understand what he's talking about and feel the same as he does 4 her. Col was hopefully going 2 c reason and understand about his circumstances cause of what his bro caused. Knox just wasn't expecting a big blow of the past that he thought was long dead and gone try and come back 2 bite him in the ads unless he does things a little differently cause he wants 2 protect his mate at all costs.

Wolf At The Door (Book 5)

Holy you know what. I love this series. I'm a guy and a read Koontz, Grishman, Stuart Woods and than Nora Roberts AKA J. D. Robb and I thought J. D. Robb's Eve Dallas and Roarke characters love making pages were steamy? But, Krystal Shannan's characters love making make J. D. Robb characters seem like a nursery story. Plus the story line is fantastic. Can't wait to continue on. Wonderful characters and writing.

Sincerely.

Wolves are “human”, too!

Ok, Ms Shannon shows us what prejudice can do, even if her examples are animals. Col, a dragon, hates & mistrusts all wolves. He goes so far as to issue a “kill on sight” order for all wolves. But fortunately, time & cooler heads prevail when our hero (wolf-shifter) Knox and Col meet face to face over Knox’s injured mate. Past mistakes & prejudices are put aside & a compromise is found. But there are still enemies hiding in the shadows......

Katherine suddenly finds herself in the middle of shifters from another planet, and the man she was getting to know right in the middle of the trouble. Knox only wants a chance at life, away from the past mistakes, with his mate, Katherine. They both have many issues to overcome and I enjoyed reading about their connection to one another and the strength of the women involved to stand up for what is right.

First, I really liked Knox and Katherine. They were great together and I enjoyed their time.
Now the HUGE downside. Col. Seriously, F that guy. Here's this dragon that didnt even want people when he showed up, but now has a tribe and is the most uncompromising, bossy, self righteous a-hole. He can demand anything from his crew and they must obey, but if anyone else is the victim of another leader doing so, they are irredeemable. Its bull. Rant over.

This is book five of the Soulmate Shifters in Mystery, Alaska. Knox is a wolf shifter from another planet. His brother, Raish, was the Alpha, but he was also crazy and now dead. There are only about four wolves left in Knox’s pack with the others being killed by the war Raish started. Knox knows Katherine, a human, is his soulmate, but must convince her of this and let her know about shifters. Good read!

Interesting Twist to Shifters!!

These Shifters are from another planet – so the transition to “human” is much more difficult for them. There is conflict between all the shifters and the wolves adding to the intrigue.

Katherine is startled to discover the man who has been visiting her at the center is a wolf, an alien, and considers her his mate. She has had a tough upbringing and does not trust easily.

Interesting interplay between characters. Enjoyable series.

Fun series

Alien shifters inhabit a remote Alaskan town and improbably find mates among the local population. Although the premise sounds a little like a late night tv show, the stories are actually quite good. The characters are well developed and sympathetic and their story of being marooned in a strange place and learning to find their place and rebuild their lives and families is often heartwarming. I enjoy this series and look forward to the next book.
