Oh No'ssss... our special Mary Sue Nora, the most special-est special girl in Special Town, is turning dark!! What will happen? Please tell me there will be a magical fix-all that shows up at exactly the right time!!

Aww, thank you, trope! You and all of your trope friends have been there for us throughout the series. You are faithful to the end.

So, yeah. She's turning dark. And, frankly, I was on Team Dark. She was much more interesting as a cold, heartless killer than she is as a messed-up

Not the great ending I was hoping for. So after waiting for this fourth book I might have built it up in my head. Since Nora had not been intimate with anyone in the prior books I was expecting it to happen and while it did I'm not a fan of that fade to black description. Also felt like a lot was crammed into this book, felt rushed. Had a YA feel to the book. Kinda disappointed.

Great ending. I love Parker, Oliver, Rook, Charlie, Terrence, Ren, Nick, Enzo, and their whole clan. Love it! I don't love how everything with Charlie feels rushed.

It saddens me to give only 3 stars to one of my favorite rh series but this last book left so much unresolved. I felt it was rushed as well, especially the relationship with Charlie. I love Jackie May but Im truly disappointed with this last book. I know well see Nora and her men as cameos in her other books but I still feel like their story shouldnt have ended this quickly. ...more

one of my favorite RH series!
I am sad it's over, but I am glad everything was wrapped up in this book.

I love the MC Nora and her guys.
What I liked about this RH is in her harem she has guys who are there as friends/clan members not bf's. And, for the guys she is romantic with its only around 5. I think RH's are better when they don't go past 5 main guys. I don't like when the MC has too many guys because it gets super confusing who's who. ( one book series i read the girl has like 9! )

I enjoyed this series once I accepted it as a YA/RH series.

This is not a series with a lot of sexy times, but the series worked. This was truly more about love, romance and family with the paranormal element added to it.

I wasn't sure how it would work with the fifth and final mate being introduced in this book, but again it all worked.

Don't go into this expecting hot and steamy because you won't get that in this series, but it was still a good series.

Awwww, I'm so sad now that I've finished the last book of this series. I'm really going to miss these characters. My only two complaints about this series are 1. It's over and 2. I felt the author rob me of the sex scenes. Seriously, Josh and Kelly why write an RH novel about a girl with five guys and not give some of your sex-starved readers some hot and steamy sexual details huh? I mean if you were so worried about your children reading this book then you should have given them this version ...more

3.5-4 stars
This was a mostly good end to an interesting series with very different characters and a slow burn romance thrown into a high action paranormal world.

I enjoyed most of this series with the character development and balance of action and romance. There were a few times I felt the action was dragged out a bit too long. Also, a lot kept happening to just these few main characters, a lot of near deaths or kidnappings, etc. however the majority of the time the action was entertaining and
I was disappointed in the finalle. Out of the four books this was the weakest.

Okay Book, but Great Series

3-3.5/5 for this book.
The series is a solid 4/5.
I truly love this series. The characters and their development are wonderful. They are each growing and I love how the book focuses on the continued development of the relationships, both intimate and familial ties. My main gripe about this book was it felt very rushed. Events occurred so fast, back to back, I had trouble keeping a time line. Also it felt like it was trying to hard to have a solid ending for all the

This was such an awesome series to follow. I read this book just a little too fast yesterday sadly so I'm already done and very sleepy because I couldn't sleep until I finished it. Logical reasoning in my head! Alright, anywaaaaays, I love this series and I am rather sad to see it ending. I'm hoping Jackie May decides to do a little novella eventually of Nora and her clan later on, but I understand if they can't because they are working on other books as well. For those who are just getting into ...more

I love this series

I have loved this series since I read the first book. Why did I only give it 4 stars? The author stated this was the end of the series but I feel like there is still a lot left unresolved. The story and characters are amazing and you can tell the growth through the series. I cant wait to read more by the author and hope to see the characters in the future.

Fantastic book

I really enjoyed this series and I thought this book might struggle because there was so many things to tie up. All her men, her past, the sirens curse and the current death shes work on for the FUA - its all full on for poor Nora. if youre looking for the love fest,be warned its pretty pg live scenes are skimmed over in favour of the packed plot

This book is the perfect ending to a great series. I love Nora and her clan. I really like that not everyone in the clan is in her harem. I wouldn't mind more books in the future. Maybe Nora and her clan do decide to take up the offer and move!

I love these characters

Not sure if this is the last book in the series (hope not 🤞), but if it was, it went out with a bang and the HEA I was looking for.

Loved this series!! The storylines the characters...all of it. The only thing that lacked to me was the intimacy of Nora and her guys. I felt like allll the books led up to this one and then it was just too cookie cutter when she was finally with each of them. No details really. Aside from that I really loved this series

What? Thats how it ends?

Okay I love Jackie May's writing. The duo does a good job. However, that being said this story is not complete. No way. I don't want to see nora pop up in shaynes stories. I want nora to continue her own damn story. The relationship with Charlie... not complete... the story of enzo not finished... i know the spin off series is great but i need this story to complete first.

Loved it

I love the writing style, the characters, the storyline. I need more please. The only negative is that it is too long between books. I hope to see more of these characters in future in this world, even if not specifically with this clan. Great job.

The worst part of a Nora Jacobs book has to be Nora. I keep waiting for her to grow up but alas.
Before I started reading this, I said I wouldnt like this nearly as much as the first three. Turns out I was rig. The first three were slow in the romance department, but had an interesting enough plot that I liked it regardless. The romance aspect was nearly non-existent until book three because our heroine suffered sexual abuse and has PTSD.

This book was mediocre. I totally guessed the evil villain early on. Not that its predictable, but it just made sense. That part of the story wasnt

Not on par

I genuinely like this author duo. the Nora Jacobs series has been a fun ride with intriguing characters. Unfortunately, this book just wasnt on par with what I have grown to expect. It was still enjoyable to read but it didnt hold my attention like it normally does.

Between the stilted wording woven throughout and the rushed nature of the relationships, I didnt feel as connected to the story or the characters as I have previously. Normally this dynamic duo is able to make me feel
Nora Goes Bad

This final story in the Nora Jacobs series is a doozy. Nora is cursed, all sirens are cursed. Thats how they came to be, so all sirens eventually go bad, though their harem helps stave off the descent into madness. It seems that Nora isnt bonding as fast as she should with her harem. Her pesky siren side keeps trying to take over.

It also appears that there is someone who is gunning for her and her clan, and there are big monetary rewards being offered to mercenaries to capture Nora

Very good!

I read some other reviews before reading this, and I was a bit wary to read it and be disappointed since Ive loved the series thus far. But I really did enjoy it :-) Yes, the bad guy was predictable, especially after reading the reviews, and yes, I think its a bit nonsensical that it wasnt guessed by the characters beforehand... Maybe not by Nora, since she has done a 180 and is now so trusting and likes to believe that there is goodness in others. But her clan, and especially Illren

Ok. I NEED a sequel series with Nora and her clan. Nothing wrong with other characters in the same world, but Nora has so much more potential. When I began the series, I thought it would become at least six books long.
A sequel series with the same characters and a new overarching plotline, would make soo much sense.
I love her too much, to just get a glimpse here and there in other stories.

Maybe she could become pregnant and people are frightened by the combination of a siren-cupid child or she

If you asked me to describe this series it began divine. It was original, interesting and NOT obvious. I loved the absence of fated mates, loves at first sights, being led by your ovaries and falling for assholes because they're hot...
And then someone hit the authors on the head and they decided to destroy a magnificent beginning with a rushed, shallow and VERY unsatisfying end.
Strong despite all her past Nora in the #4 becomes a tortured Mary Sue. Relationships that were slowly blossoming

Please let there be more

I'm not one who usually leaves a review but for this series it's more than warranted and deserved.
This (series and indeed the sister one of Shayne Davies) is one of those reads which grab you and pull you in for all the good reasons - the type of read that has pages being turned with out consciously doing so and has your full attention and is an absolute pleasure to read.
Both series are that good that I've not realised what time it was (invariably silly o-clock in the

Mmmm, this series honestly went a little downhill for me.

I felt like Nora got more naive with each book, to the point where she bordered on TSTL. I mean, Henry. Henry has fucked them over in literally every book, there are never any real consequences, and they always end up working with him again.

And, too, there's no consequences for anyone, really. The FUA is a pretty rotten organization, who allows horrible things happen in the name of political expediency. They are part of the problem. Having

Loved this series!! The story lines the characters, plot lines, spacing with all what was happening and the funniest lines or parts that i read. Those parts made me giggle lots in my bedroom.
Now I had have a problem, with it- The lack of intimacy scenes that were detailed, most of it was so fast that actually had to reread them just to make sure that they were sex scene's. She needed to make them more detailed and believable as well.

Nothing comes from less details...well to me it doesn't. All
