“God saves the Queen” takes over exactly where its predecessor (Kat & Mouse) left in, Kat and Hugh are still on the run, trying to dodge the authorities and find a solution to Hugh’s situation. Meanwhile Kat has been reflecting on her true abilities, for her bounty hunter talent to her just discovered hidden powers and how she can combine both together. The characters reminded me of other super heroes/villains such as Poison Ivy from Batman, or the Wraith a soul sucker. A great paranormal action thriller. Intense situations and creepy bad guys makes for great reading. The sarcastic sense of humor is right up my lane.
