A Plague wiped out most of humanity. Five years later, only the strong can continue to survive. Many join colonies, others, like Leah, prefer to live alone, off the grid, out of sight, independent, hidden, emotionally distant. Then it happened, she is discovered and hunted down methodically by James, a member of a small town that claims to be a safe haven, particularly for women, who are a rare commodity in what is left of the world. James claims he is in love with her, she is to be his.

~Summary

Post Plague Kidnapping is set in the late 2030s in the Southern US. Leah (our leading female) lives alone, fending for herself on a daily basis. She prefers it that way: when you’re alone, no-one can hurt you. No-one can leave.

However, Leah isn’t the only person to survive a world-wide viral infection. Other groups have been observing her town for some time when she is finally captured and taken to live at a nearby colony.
Leah must learn to trust others: her survival may literally depend

Wow did I love this story. It was rec’d in a FB group and I’m so glad I took a chance on it. The writing was good the storyline was super engaging and I really liked the characters. I’m always down for a unique premise and this book sure delivered.

The main characters were developed well and I enjoyed the banter between them. Leah was a total badass and I loved her. There’s nothing worse than a heroine who capitulates after one touch, so I especially appreciated how Leah fought pretty much until

POST PLAGUE KIDNAPPING is an erotic post-apocalyptic story involving Leah, who has lived alone for the past five years and likes it that way, and James, who helped to build a colony where people can live in safety together.

Now, obviously the title gives away part of the story. Leah is kidnapped by James and his crew and taken to the colony, whether she wants to be there or not.

As characters, both Leah and James were very good. Both were independent and resourceful, wanting to do what's best.

Good grovel

What I liked is that the heroine of this story stayed true to herself. Yes she fell in love with her captor but still wanted her freedom back. Good grovel in the end.
