In “The Mystery of Dreams: A Teaching and Journaling Experience,” Rabbi Schneider tackles the question of whether or not God speaks to believers through dreams. Using biblical illustrations and his own personal experiences he demonstrates that the Lord does speak to his people through dreams although we often don't think about their meaning. Only by jotting them down and using prayer as our guide will God eventually reveal their meaning either to help us solve a problem, to redirect our path, or by giving us new purpose in our lives.

The novel is split into two parts with the second section a place to record our own dreams. Rabbi Schneider’s writing style is conversational and inspirational, flowing smoothly as he gives insight, direction and encouragement to believers. I for one am going to follow his advice, jot down my dreams and explore what God is trying to tell me as I sleep at night.

This is a short read but very good! I have always believed that dreams are critical and sometimes mine were scary when they came true so I asked God not to give them to me anymore as I didn't want to know ahead of time events that brought sorrow. Now that I'm older, I question maybe God was preparing me to be stronger and to help those around these events. This book gives us a deeper understanding of our dreams and as Rabbi Schneider said "to disregard your dreams is to disregard God's voice!"

Very interesting and revealing book. Rabbi Schneider reveals how the gift of dreams is still important today in our walk with Elohim(God). The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is the use of multiple versions of the Bible. Using only KJV and/or the HalleluYah Scriptures would have been best.

Hmm. It was interesting, but apparently, I have to write the second half of the book with my own dream experiences. I'm a bit skeptical, but maybe I'll try it and then write a review.
