Definitely written from a position of privilege and designing events on a grand scale. There weren’t many examples of times she’d had difficult customers, demographics and successfully steered back on course following disasters which is more familiar in this industry. It’s all very ‘money no object’ still I was interested to read about her wedding and thought that goes into client experience and I guess her planning must be so meticulous with a good budget she seldom makes mistakes!
Well written but not a toolkit or resource for event planning
I think it's a lovely aspirational book but if you are aiming to start a new business it may not be for you. Napa valley events sound amazing but the book is about the top 5% of clients not the average event.
