A quick and funny read

A quick, funny read consisting of comics of prehistoric peoples and animals. The commentary of the comics is written in a way to make the reader question where the truth ends and story telling begins.

Great Panels

These comics and their origin descriptions are great. I really enjoyed the bicycle for two, the armadillo, and the end of a relationship. The armadillo is especially cute as it is my state's animal. Can't wait for Volume II.

I won this book in a goodreads drawing.

I guess this is an issue of a magazine. The artist of one panel cartoons went on a sabbatical/research trip to look at cave man art and early drawings. We see various drawings by the artist, and some background material.

The gags are interesting, but maybe not worth all the effort of some of these background essays.
