Gracie to the Rescue: The Life and Adventures of a Rescue Dog is an adorable book.
It was written by Katie Rynkiewich and Edgar Ramirez and illustrated by Gian Silva. Gracie to the Rescue is the story of Gracie, a happy little dog who unfortunately is given up for adoption when her family has a new baby. After being fostered, Gracie is finally adopted by a wonderful new family.
The book was a short, easy read which is great for children who don't like to sit for longer stories. The illustrations were so fun and my daughter loved looking at how Silva illustrated Gracie. They really add to the overall story. I also love the animal rescue message.
I love this story. It is a heartwarming tale of animal adoption. Not only is a great book to read with your children but it also a great reminder that there are so many animals who are not as fortunate.

This is a nice little book that tells the story of a little dog called Gracie. Gracie had a family, but she was given for adoption, thankfully she found a new family, but she was scared and hide a lot. She grew to trust her new mom and dad and to be a great companion. This book can inspire and teach kids and parents on adoption and its beauty and challenges. The illustrations of this book are plain, made in a digital simple, sketchy style that is understandable for kids. I would recommend this book for any family who is adopting a pet or considering adoption. It is also great as a nice little nighttime story for your kid.

I enjoy reading this book because even though it is written as a children story it has such a powerful message.
Unfortunately nowadays many house animals are abandoned whenever they become a problem. As a dog and cat mom I consider this behavior unacceptable and I believe this cute little story could help readers raise awareness into this critical matter.

Absolutely loved!
Any book about dog rescue is near and dear to my heart. This one pulled at your heartstrings and was well written. The beautiful illustrations shows the dogs emotions very well. Loved it.
