I have been a big fan of Jordan Marie and her Savage Brothers MC series. For that reason I was super excited to start the new spinoff series as I knew it would surly deliver. Chains and Kayden were very very sexy. This is definitely an older man/younger girl kind of story but it is so much more. Definitely a great start to a series!
I loved that even though Kayden was young and inexperienced she was sassy af and never pulled her punches. There was no power disparity between them as she gave as good as she got and always spoke her mind. This story is also very insta-connection (aka "you're my woman, I'm your man") which was pretty delicious to watch. Overall, this story was sexy, intense and emotional. I can't wait to read more! 4 stars! ~Ratula

Chains and Kayden will have you laughing so hard that it's best to not be drinking or eating whilst reading. Snorting coffee out of your nose is not fun.
When Chains drifts into town he's not planning on staying. Out of the Military he's been wandering aimlessly. A nomad and not committed to a club he's found he likes it better this way.
When he see's Kayden he realizes she's the sort of woman a man would be interested in setting down roots for. She's young and he has no business touching her but that's not going to stop him. When he realizes that she's also the MC's presidents only daughter? Yeah that won't stop him either.
The fire in these two is explosive. You can't help but get caught up in their banter. They are like kindling just waiting for that match and when it does these two will burn up the sheets.
Kayden always thought she'd never take up with a biker. It's not the life she wanted. But sometimes the one thing you didn't think you needed is what you needed most.
Another fantastic read into the MC world. I think for sure this would have to be the filthest one yet. I thought the Savage brothers couldn't be topped but their off-spring are going to prove me wrong.
The story had me up till the last page. Catching up with all the brothers and their offspring was fun. But the highlight for me was Ida Sue. She is my idol.
Highly recommend for lovers of the MC genre.

Loved the chemistry!!!
Chains and Kayden are an a awesome couple. I loved the dialogue between these two, it was funny and witty. Chains is a typical alpha male, but you see some of the sweet shining through when he talks to Kayden along with the filthy.
I haven't read the previous series with the parents and the older members of the Savage Brothers MC, but I'm interested in doing that now. I'm also wondering who some of these other characters are like Hunter/Uncle Torch and Aunt Katie.

I freaking loved it!!! Oh how I’ve missed the savage Mc. This was so perfect. Chains was over the top crazy in a way I loved. I loved that nothing was gonna stand in his way. Not even his woman!! Kay was great. I loved her sass and she was flippin funny. Always giving him a run for his money. I enjoyed Dragon and getting to see the other guys.

I absolutely loved this book. I really enjoy that she is writing the second generation. Especially since she started out with Dragons daughter Kayden. Chains and her make a weird couple at first but they are made for each other.
I loved that Chains was risking everything to be with Kayden. You have to read all her savage brothers series to understand this book.
I am telling you that you will fall in love with whole biker bunch.
Anyway, Kayden and Chains will make you laugh, cry, scream, and yell. It is all worth. I recommend this book to everyone.

Absolutely Brilliant, I feel as if I have had a visit from old friends.
I was pulled into the story from the beginning and that's where I stayed until I had read every single word that had been written. All the time I had my mini movie playing along in my head.
Twists, turns and surprises await you within the pages of this book, some surprises you may see coming where as others you won't, some are large and some are small. But each and every surprise is equally as important with in the story, and they all aid in making the story the awesome read that is it.
Emotions that the characters go through each and every one of them can be felt. I actually went throught the emotions with the said characters, I did get slightly more frustrated that the characters, a couple of times I would love to of gotten hold of a couple of the male characters and bang their heads together. But each of the characters I got annoyed at all redeemed themselves in the end. So we are all friends again.
Jordan Marie, never ever fails to make me feel as if I am actually in the story watching everything that is happening and that is something that i think is fantastic when it does happen.

What a great story that had hot alpha's and strong sassy women.The story had me laughing out loud the entire story.I am so glad that the author decided to do a second generation series and we loved being revisited by so many of our favorite characters.
Chains was one hot sexy men that was a hot alpha ,sex on a stick ,dominate,possessive and one heck of a dirty talker but, also was a man who new what he wanted and just took it.
Kayden’s father Dragon who is the President of the Savage Brothers MC that we absolutely love love love. She is feisty, fierce ,sassy, speaks her mind, has brass balls, tells it like it is and is a firecracker for sure and not about to back down from a challenge.
Chains and Kayden had major chemistry and they were super hot together whether in bed or out of it.Fierce attraction is what they had for each other but, it was more so much more they were what each other needed they would be a challenge to one another each and every day of ones life.The sex was super hot and sexy and definitely fan worthy.
Overall it was one hot tale that we loved to the bitter end.We absolutely loved the old ladies they were funny as heck and we loved that all the men were pussy whipped and not afraid to admit it and we loved seeing the men still loving their women fiercely as ever .Kayden always wanted what her mother and father had and she got that with Chains as her life with him with always be filled with love, passion, romance,dominance and a whole lot of sexy times! Dragon you never disappoint your still they same old Dragon that we fell in love with all those years ago! That Nicole is one lucky old lady for sure!

This is the first book in the Savage Brothers MC: Second Generation Series by Jordan Marie. First let me say that Dragon is one of my all time favorite MC characters so I was thrilled to see his baby girl getting a book. Jordan is an amazing author and a complete sweetheart so I feel bad that I didn’t love this book. I had the same reaction after reading Bella (Men of Steel #6) by MJ Fields. Just as I thought Bella deserved better than Tags, I think the same for Kayden West. I loved Dragon and Nicole, they were a badass couple and I was so happy they got their HEA. Dylan “CHAINS” Allen was basically a 30 year old homeless drifter. So yes, I definitely think the 18 year old daughter of Dragon and Nicole West deserved better than this guy. Honestly if Kayden hadn’t been who she was and would’ve been the h in a totally different book I would’ve hated her. So when I say she deserved better I mean the daughter of this awesome couple not actually Kayden. Because Kayden was a spoiled little dick and although she thought she was mature, she wasn’t. I wasn’t the biggest fan of Dani in the original series so I feel like Kayden would’ve been better as her daughter. I am still anxious to read about Dom and Thomas though.

If you have read The Savage Brothers MC series, then you, like me will be craving the second generation books, if you are new to Jordan Marie and this series you will love the second generation but also go back to the very start of the series to see how their parents got together.
This series starts of with Taking Her Down: Dylan 'Chains' Allen & Kayden Nicole West's story, which seems fitting to start with Dragon's daughter. The story flows brilliantly, is very well written and once I read the first chapter I couldn't put my kindle down.
This is a gripping story, Kayden is just like her father, stubborn and determined to fight for what she loves. Jammed packed with humour, MC business which includes violence and playing by the club rules, the sexual scenes are hot and we get plenty! I loved reading about all the first generation mixed in with the now very grown up second generation.
Remember it takes a very brave or stupid man to try and claim Dragon's daughter and walk away untouched.
Cannot wait for more books in this series.

I love absolutely everything Jordan has written and this book is no exception. I can not wait to continue reading the next generation old Savage Brother babies. Yes, I know they’re not babies anymore but ah. This is yet another must read series.

I didnt know what to expect. And honestly, I thought the story will go different way and have different elements. But I'm really happy with how THD goes. It flown easily and not for a second I was bored. Loved Chains and Kayden connection. Lover everything about them. Loved to meet Dragon again, even though I wanted to slap him for a second there. Lol. Loved and hated that little snipped about future book in this series. Can't wait for that story and how it will play out. Need it ASAP, so I'm kinda a bit disappointed I read THD now and not, when that book is out already.

I initially thought Chains reaction to a certain turning point in the book was a bit dramatic, but then I changed my mind. He is a typical alpha male. He done what most alpha males would do.

A long time ago now one of the very first mc books I read. Actually one of the very first books I read for my blog was breaking dragon. After that I devoured every single book from those men. Then the ones that came after them. Now it's the turn of the second generation and this book did not disappoint. I was overjoyed to see old characters back, I loved loved seeing them all. This book was everything I have come to expect from Jordan and much much more.

Wow!! I am so in love with this book!! Chain and Kayden are amazing and I loved reading every minute of their story. And don’t get me started with Dragon (love that man) Awesome job Jordan!! Just please don’t make me wait long for Gabby’s book!!

Oh, wow. I loved Kayden and Chains. The chemistry and banter with them was exellent. It was even better because of the original Savage Brothers. It was like being able to visit with old friends. I can't wait for another 2nd generation book.

Slow burn. Kayden is Dragon and Nicole’s almost nineteen year old daughter that catches the attention of a Nomad, Chains. Recognising she’s the club Princess, he likes to live dangerously by tempting the hand of the club, most especially, Dragon.
Being a club princess offers perks, lack of privacy, Neanderthal men and a mouth that garners her attention.
When Chains arrived it was meant as a stopgap, Kayden derails his plans and he abducts her after a fit of verbal sparring. He mistakenly assumes that her brothers are love- interests. With an eleven year age difference between them, he acts juvenile rather than a man of thirty.
Once she catches sight of his fully aroused appendage, ‘sweet Baby Jesus, that thing is probably labeled as a deadly weapon in at least twenty states, maybe more. It’s wide and thick and so long it can’t even stand up at attention. It bobs out, too big to even support its own weight. I’ve never had sex before, so I can only guess, but I’m pretty sure virgins aren’t able to handle that much.
“How… I mean, do you know… Well, like in inches or whatever…” I stutter, trailing off because I’m not sure how to put into words what I want to know. “Baby Girl,”
“It’s a legitimate question considering you want to put that thing in me.”
“You’ve yet to ask me a question, Kayden.” “Okay fine! How big is it?” I’m looking down at my feet, which means my gaze goes straight to his dick and I step back away from him quickly.
“What?” he practically barks.
“You heard me. I’ve got to tell you, Chains, I don’t think that thing’s going to fit in me.” “It’ll fit,”
“I’m not so sure. Do you have numbers?”
“Numbers?” he asks, looking at me confused. I take the opportunity to take a couple more steps away.
“Of the women you’ve been with before, so I can ask their opinions.”
“Well?” I prompt him when he doesn’t reply.
“I wouldn’t give you numbers of women that came before you, even if I knew them,” he grumbles.
“I see...” “What exactly do you see?”
“You’re afraid to let me talk to them, because they’ll prove what I already know.” “What’s that, for Christ’s sake?”
“That you did irreparable harm to them and they’re in nursing homes drooling, unable to talk and confined to a wheelchair, unable to walk because they were drilled by the King Kong lizard you’re carrying between your legs”.
“Lizard?”
“I’m too young to be put in a home. I just don’t think—”
“Kayden, Baby, shut those beautiful lips of yours. I’m about to show you so much pleasure you’ll be begging for more,”
“You promise you’ll go slow?”
“Slower than you’ll want me to,” he promises.
“And if it hurts you’ll stop.” “I promise that if it hurts, it won’t last long and the pleasure will be worth it,”
“Why couldn’t I be attracted to a man with a teeny weenie?” I ask the powers that be.

When Chains arrived it was meant as a stopgap, Kayden derails his plans and he abducts her after a fit of verbal sparring. He mistakenly assumes that her brothers are love- interests. With an eleven year age difference between them, he acts juvenile rather than a man of thirty.
Once she catches sight of his fully aroused appendage, ‘sweet Baby Jesus, that thing is probably labeled as a deadly weapon in at least twenty states, maybe more. It’s wide and thick and so long it can’t even stand up at attention. It bobs out, too big to even support its own weight. I’ve never had sex before, so I can only guess, but I’m pretty sure virgins aren’t able to handle that much.
“How… I mean, do you know… Well, like in inches or whatever…” I stutter, trailing off because I’m not sure how to put into words what I want to know. “Baby Girl,”
“It’s a legitimate question considering you want to put that thing in me.”
“You’ve yet to ask me a question, Kayden.” “Okay fine! How big is it?” I’m looking down at my feet, which means my gaze goes straight to his dick and I step back away from him quickly.
“What?” he practically barks.
“You heard me. I’ve got to tell you, Chains, I don’t think that thing’s going to fit in me.” “It’ll fit,”
“I’m not so sure. Do you have numbers?”
“Numbers?” he asks, looking at me confused. I take the opportunity to take a couple more steps away.
“Of the women you’ve been with before, so I can ask their opinions.”
“Well?” I prompt him when he doesn’t reply.
“I wouldn’t give you numbers of women that came before you, even if I knew them,” he grumbles.
“I see...” “What exactly do you see?”
“You’re afraid to let me talk to them, because they’ll prove what I already know.” “What’s that, for Christ’s sake?”
“That you did irreparable harm to them and they’re in nursing homes drooling, unable to talk and confined to a wheelchair, unable to walk because they were drilled by the King Kong lizard you’re carrying between your legs”.
“Lizard?”
“I’m too young to be put in a home. I just don’t think—”
“Kayden, Baby, shut those beautiful lips of yours. I’m about to show you so much pleasure you’ll be begging for more,”
“You promise you’ll go slow?”
“Slower than you’ll want me to,” he promises.
“And if it hurts you’ll stop.” “I promise that if it hurts, it won’t last long and the pleasure will be worth it,”
“Why couldn’t I be attracted to a man with a teeny weenie?” I ask the powers that be.
The reader gets a quick taste of Ida Sue.

Savage Brothers Second Generation - Book 1 - Taking Her Down - Jordan Marie
Wow, wow, wow! I am beyond happy to be back in the world of the Savage Brothers MC. We not only get to catch up with the original members which is everything! We also now have their grown up kids to take us on all kinds of adventures. It's not essential to of read the original series to appreciate this book or series but it just makes it all the more delicious if you have!
In book one of the next generation we are given the story of Kayden and Chains and OMG what a wild ride! Kayden West is the nearly nineteen year old daughter of my beloved Detroit "Dragon" West the president and founding member of The Savage Brothers MC and his beautiful wife Nicole. Being the daughter of Dragon and Nicole Kayden is everything you hope and more, beautiful, clever, funny, a tough cookie and as sassy as her mama if not more. Dylan "Chains" Allen is a nomad and at nearly thirty had no real issue with being a wanderer until he sets eyes on Kayden, she makes him ache in the best if ways and want things he never thought were possible. Their chemistry is instant and explosive, completely undeniable and once they both realise that they can't stay away from each other. Due to misunderstandings decisions are made which quickly causes them both to have a fire breathing daddy Dragon on their tails but what they share and the bond they have is completely worth every moment. Chains and Kayden understand and are connected in a way only many dream of and that is worth fighting a Dragon for. Filled with strong characters both new and old, classic banter and camaraderie that this author nails every time, along with some seriously scorching scenes that this author writes to perfection. Moments to have you gasping in shock then laughing out loud. Absolutely loved every word of this book, the futures that it teases and mostly that we have new characters to fall in love with along with keeping the originals. Highly recommended without question. I can't wait to read the next one! Happy Reading.

Very weak read. Used to like this authors books, but her latest novels have been so boring, badly written and lacking everything the first ones had. This was so dull and lacking depth, not only the story but also the characters. I didn't get why Chains wanted Kayden, besides the fact she was a 'big chocolate beauty', or whatever way it was she described herself. There was nothing written about either of them to let the reader know them. It was too easy, too sweet, more like a teenage romance. There was no story here either, nothing except them getting together, that's it. So a very weak plot. It was kind of a chore to push through because it dragged and was too repetitive with all his, 'I'm never letting you go' constantly.
I gave this author's first two MC series all 4 & 5 stars, the Blaze MC with Skull and Beast etc and the Savage brothers MC with Dragon etc. Who is the father of the female lead in this, but this was just so dull and nothing of a story in comparison. Haven't liked anything JM has written since Bull, which I found a bit tedious. I couldn't even finish Diesel or Devil because they were so boring, that I didn't even try the rest of the book in their Tennessee MC series because they were that bad. I have read worse, that's why I'm not giving it 1 star but this is not very interesting at all. Jordan Marie is no longer a one click purchase for me. Shame but this was really a nothing read, I feel like I wasted my time.

This is the second generation. This would be Dragon and Nicole's daughter and Chains, a nomad biker. When he sees Kayden he knows he has to have her. When he see's her with another man he knows he has to take her. The best part of this book was the comedy. I almost died laughing. I had a horrible day and I didn't think anything could make me smile today until I settled down with this book.
Daddy Dragon was so awesome. I have always loved Dragon and Nicole but as parents they rocked. Dragon loves his little girl like he loves his wife Nicole. Wholeheartedly and he will KILL anyone who doesn't treat them right. What happens when daddy walks in with his little girl covered in ........well stuff. Stuff that comes from a place that no Dad wants to think about. That particular scene was priceless.
Chains was obsessive and crazy and much like Dragon was over his woman back in the day. Alpha and possessive is an understatement and I loved every second.

DNF. This is awful. The way that the mmc treats women is degrading at best!
I can’t actually believe what I just read, even if I didn’t finish it, I feel disgusted. Chains is a nomad who has been badly treated by two or three different women. So when he meets the very young, beautiful and innocent Kayden he fights his feelings. As 1) She’s 18, and he’s 30. 2) She’s the daughter of Dragon who is a notorious president of an Mc, and 3) He doesn’t trust any woman.
When he can’t stop thinking about Kayden he goes round to her apartment, sees her brothers coming out and in his mind she’s a dirty wh*re. She tries to tell him numerous times but he doesn’t listen. He pretty much s*xu*lly assaults her at a PARK after she tells him to stop numerous times, and that she’s not comfortable doing things like that.
Then when he sees her again with her brother, he goes psycho and kidnaps her!!! I kid you not! I can’t even believe what I’m reading! Eventually he realises that it was her brothers and that she’s still a v*rgin so he’s all of a sudden madly in love with her!!! 😡😡😡😡😡

I am disappointed and I feel really bad because of that. I adore MJ's writing, her characters especially Nicole and Dragon are my favorite so when I sow that this is book like 2nd generation of Savage Brothers I was over the moon!!!!
For me it was to rushed, he was acting like he doesn't know anything about MC world, and that "boy toy" ughh.. I am aware that we have loads of insta love, caveman instinct and I don't know what in these books but for me all this book could be put in not even 100 pages.
Now, I am petrified to read Dom's book. That book need to be epic! No pressure!!! Again I hate myself but we are talking about two brothers here and to be honest I am not happy. Books like that can be really messy and usually I won't pick book with triangle in it. I hope that book won't be rushed like this one because we have really delicate situation here and we are talking about Dragon's boys.

LOVE LOVE LOVE
Savage MC series was amazing and knew the 2nd generation had to be even more epic. Loved that we got to see all MC brothers and there old ladies mention through out the book. They still kinky and crazy as ever LOL The love story between chain and Kayden no words to describe so take bow Jordan marie loved every moment.
I just wish to hear more about DOM and gabby? Loved the brothers how they so protective of there sister. To see how much DOM loves his brother he give up the woman he loves for his brother. I hope you can do story for the brothers. I hope Thomas finds love and that dom and gabby do get back together but make dom sweat a bit and beg LOL but Thomas such sweet heart and if uncle bull can find love Thomas can :) PLEASE PLEASE HAVE A SERIES OF ALL THE KIDS MC :)
