PLAY BETTER GOLF
Play Better Golf is a book about different types of golf swings that you can play In the game and what the positives and negatives of each swing are. Example: the draw is the most ideal type of swing a pro golfer wants to make because it gives the greatest amount of yardage after the ball hits the ground. The draw swing is a in to outward motion with the club letting the ball start a little right to center and slightly coming back to the left. I can relate to this swing because with my irons I have a draw swing but my driver is back in forth but mostly a fade which is the third most ideal swing type behind hitting the ball dead straight. I really enjoyed reading the swing type part of this book because I could really relate to the different types of swings he had been talking about because I think back to my personal swing.

The whole book is just about the swing and what to do besides the swing with your body such as turning the hips and the follow through etc. If I wasn't in golf right now I would probably use the tips he gives to make a better swing and see how they turn out and put together the perfect swing but I'm not willing to screw anything as of right now. Personally I like how this book is structured like a comic book because after each tip or statement he gives it then shows you in a picture as to what he's actually doing in the swing which helps you visualize it better.

Overall, I would probably have to rate this book an 8/10. I rated it an 8 because at some points in the book I kinda zoned out just because it got boring since I know a lot of what he's already talking about. But I also rated as high as I did because there were also quite a bit of things in the book that were new to me. So, I would probably highly recommend this book to a beginner golfer who could read this book and study it to make a perfect swing of their own.

While this book may seem a bit dated, Jack Nicklaus' tips and techniques are still valuable. While it is easy to read through this book, it makes a great reference for one to come back to so that they can work on specific parts of their game.
