Ralph Delahaye Paine was an American journalist and author popular in the early 20th century. Later, he held both elected and appointed government offices.
Research for my current book. Extremely detailed from long before I was born, although recently I have felt that old. But I digress (even if I can no longer digest). Interesting chapters on Captain Kidd. And the sad, or exciting part, depending on where you stand--it was written in 1911 and the treasures which are "sought to this day", are likely still being sought. Dream on you crazy treasure pirates, dream on.
