Editing happened here but ties up eh

This one was much better in terms of editing though there were till typos there were significantly left which made my enjoyment of the story so much better.

In this one though we go through a lot with Jade and the guys, and I feel like too much and not enough happened in this book to tie everything up like it did.

Though we find more Lotheree or however it is spelled things change and work too easily for Jade. Sure some people she loved die, which I found somewhat unnecessary tbh, but the story just kind of fizzles at the end.

Then we get a 10 month time jump and I’m disappointed I didn’t get to see how everyone settled in, how they learned so quickly how they got around the passport or identity issue. Do they give them human names? It was like them being an alien and her being the empress just took a backseat and never really went anywhere. I just I’m not thrilled with how things ended. It was cute though.

This series was really good. I absolutely adored the characters (though I wanted to throttle Jade a time or three, especially in book 1). I enjoyed the plot and it was paced well. There was some action which at times was intense. My only real criticisms are the many typos, wrong words, etc and some consistency issues (for example one guy had green eyes then blue. One guy had auburn hair then it was light brown. One guy had dark hair then it was russet. One guy had hazel eyes then they were green). I visualize the characters as described mostly so this kind of thing really throws me off. Neither the typos nor consistency issues ruined the story for me as I still thoroughly enjoyed it!

This book was alright. It honestly felt like it was too much and not enough at the same time. It also seemed like two different books. The first half of the book was all about them building a life together. Then suddenly they are called into action once again to help the remaining members of their species against more scientists. And thats pretty much where we finish up the last half of the book with. Then there is a time jump that is mildly disappointing at the very end.
Not sure how exactly I felt about this book. I really have mixed feelings. Jade was just all over the place here so it was hard for me to like/relate to her. Some chapters she was pretty chill and others she was just mean and whiney. Roman was kind of frustrating because he just has this whole jump in character development halfway through the book. I felt like he was so damaged and knew so little through most of the book and then suddenly he is an expert in feelings and sex and just knew what to do.

This was an excellent book. I loved the way it played out and how fast paced it was.

Character growth: Not too much except for Roman. There was the physical relationship that happened in this book, which was a growth. And powers. But I loved the banter and the characters.

The series as a whole probably a 4.5. I wish there was a physical copy of this series because I would totally buy it.

The inconsistencies continued through to this book. Flip flopping their characteristics and the typos. But again, it was easy for me to overlook them because I was so engrossed with the story. I was a little sad that we ended up not being able to see their land they came from. But I get it. This was my least favorite book out of all 3 but it honestly didn't disappoint me. I'm going to check out this author and keep an eye on the work she puts out. Awesome.

I was lucky enough to have early access to this novel and am leaving this review voluntarily.

This is the final, thrilling conclusion to a great series by Lucy Rains. It has been a pleasure to follow the progression of the characters throughout the novels, the writing is impeccable and complex, slowly building up these nuanced and compelling characters.
This book and the series are a fabulous edition to the RH genre, and I can't wait to read whatever this great author writes next.

Too notch series

Well written with an interesting story line. Jade was the right amount of fiesty, intelligent, loyal and loveable. The author created a genuine teenager, who developed unusual skills and meets up with four (and then 5) men, each bringing specific skills and dynamics to the relationship. Each book ends without a cliffhanger and flows nicely into the next book.

Fab read

I loved this trilogy. Loved the characters, the storyline rollercoaster and loved the way it's written. I started it to fill a few nights bedtime reading and done the whole trilogy in a week. The mature themes are written well and characters connections are believeable. Really good read.

This series was a fun read. I think I highlighted half of what came out of Alex's mouth lol....pretty sure he's my spirit animal. I was sad to see it over but there were no questions left unanswered so that's good enough for me.

Great end!

I'm a little sad to see this series end. I hope there is a novella updating us on the characters. There was a lot of action and hot romance in this book. I really enjoyed the last chapter.

I'm sad it's over

Awww this was such a good trilogy. I fell in love with these characters. Out of all the guys Alex is probably my favorite. He brought the humor when they really needed it. The growth Lucy wrote for the characters were spot on. I'm sad it's over. So good

enjoyed

A great book! Seems like the perfect ending. I’m excited to see what the next one could be about. This series isn’t at all what I though it was gonna be. And that great.

Great story.

Loved it. Such a great story, you can feel it wrapping up. The characters are great, having been fully fleshed out, the world is great and really developed.

I was lucky to read this as a Beta reader and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This is an amazing book. You need to have reads books 1 and 2 before hand. This is an emotionally/physical journey of Jade and her men and what they can overcome, and how Jade can face her future.

I loved the way this story flows and how each character is so well put together. It’s a wonderful journey you are taken on.

This is a definitely 5⭐️ read and I recommend you read it. But read the first 2 books first. 💜❤️
