A captivating recount of the often contentious history of such a young university, from its nascence to its current prestige of becoming world renowned in less than 50 years. There were many decisions that went into making it this way; its ability to step away from orthodoxy has led to many opportunities and advantages over traditional schools. The book is a large format with beautiful photographs but still maintains a captivating and detailed story.

This is a great read for any alumni, person contemplating attending, or administrator at other institutions wanting to chart a better course.
