The devil will walk the earth. To plan a wedding.

I never thought I’d fall in love.
And, certainly not with a little human spitfire.

The men in my family are familiar with falling. But, falling in love with Wren took me by surprise. And, while everyone agrees we’re married by my father’s law, apparently everyone likes a party. So, now we have to plan what Wren’s mum call

It’s what we’ve come to expect and it’s good. So very different from any other thing I’ve read.

The angels/demons war continues to be a little confusing (even if quite less than in the first one) - maybe it’s all the names we haven’t heard before?
Kyle really wins as the favourite side-character even when Thane entered the competition.
Also, I’m so glad Larry got to appear at the wedding (and also some other very special character that I can’t tell you because spoilers probably).

Now I want to read

Another hilarious chapter in the human's life. Book two brings us to the wedding. You really need to read book one, Damned If I Do, to really understand the characters and get some of the backstory leading to this book. Neither books end in a cliffhanger, though, so there's that. :D Lucifer, as in THE Devil, is bringing the party topside (earth) to celebrate his son's marriage to a human. A human who agreed to be married to the devils son and live eternity in Hell. Surprised to say, all her frie ...more

This is a new author for me, so I wasn’t sure what to expect when I signed up to read this book through the Hidden Gems program. (Though it was given to me as a box set of all three books in this series.)
Book two, Damned if I do, brings us to Drake and Wren’s wedding day, and of course Lucifer wants to make a big production of the earth-side event with the help of Wren’s parents by planning a “proper wedding”. When you gather a bunch of otherworldly ‘people’ and a bunch of humans, not to mention

Fun, sexy, blasphemous...

...and I love it, on to the next one!

Cons: Potentially blasphemous version of deities. An awful lot of sex for a book said to be for 16-18 year olds.

Pros: Lighthearted, genuinely funny writing. Lucifer often taking himself not seriously, at all, and living planning a wedding. And devilbums, particularly Kyle:

"Drake had told me Kyle was young, the equivalent of a three or four-year-old human, and, from the little I knew about kids, I believed it. At least, though, his

Read and reviewed in exchange for the book itself.

This volume was no less spectacular than its predecessor and just as enthralling. While there are a few—and I mean less than 5—typos in the book as a while, the thing that may catch a few readers off guard is the turns of phrase and verbiage used. The author is English, and as such, things like a bachelor’s party is referred to as a buck’s night. There are other to note, but to be honest, those unique Britishisms just made the story that much mo

As I read the trilogy, this review is for all three books.
Even though this book takes place in hell and torture, gore, blood, etc. are all prevalent in the story, the author managed to write a light hearted feel good book. It was funny and endearing.
Four stars because sometimes the author told me instead of showed me what the characters were feeling. And because book two was not as enjoyable as book one or three.
I received a free copy of this book and I voluntarily reviewed it.

It’s a little slow. I feel like they just drug it out beyond what was needed because the majority of the book was uneventful. Did like the ending though. A nine little twist and surprise to help make the book more On the win side.

Writer. Reader. Perpetual student. Nerd.

I started out writing fantasy. But, I like to write anything, honestly. These days, I mainly stick to YA and there's always at least a sprinkling of romance, if not a 'whoops, I dropped the whole packet in'. Almost all my books are set in my home state of South Australia, either in real or fictional places - gotta write what you know - with Netherfield being
