Snapdragon and Bass, The book worm and the thrill seeker. The loner and the troublemaker. She's happier alone in her room reading a book. He lives for the thrill of adventure. It's an unlikely friendship but an accidental email led then to each other. Now their importance to one another cannot be denied. But what exactly are they to each other? How do they balance their online lives with their real lives? When they each meet people in real life that they share a connection with they feel conflic ...more
I received a free copy from the author and voluntarily reviewed it.

After reading the novella Riptide and enjoying the previous books in this series I was really excited to see if book 4 would be just as good. I love how each book in this series is different, but there are still common elements and recurring characters throughout the series. It makes for an exciting series and I plan to start the epilogue novella right after this as I want to see how it all gets wrapped up.

Wipe Out tells the stor

This couple was hands down my absolute favourite in the Ryder Bay series. I loved their origin story in Riptide and now getting to know them better and seeing their chemistry in person even if Snapdragon and Bass had no idea they were in the same town and actually interacting in person was amazing!

Jace and Lettie find they have instant chemistry when he literally sweeps her off her feet with his skateboard. This bad boy and bookworm should not have anything in common, yet they are absolutely dra

This book stole my heart! Also the ending was super unexpected which I really liked. I love these books lately that seem to be a normal YA but have a twist to them and some major suspense.
I'm glad I was able to read the novella before I read this because it definitely made me excited to learn what happens with Jace and Lettie who is Snap Dragon.
These two are definitely opposites; the troublemaker and the bookworm. I really enjoyed these characters though and loved that Lettie brought out the s

Every time I read a Jordan Ford’s book I know it’s going to be great and as expected this book is amazing. In this story you follow again Jace a Lettie from Riptide. Jace is now in Ryder Bay fighting the feelings overwhelming him. Rejection, regret, longing and some fear of what could happen if he gets in trouble again. Lettie starts as a freshman in High School and she finds herself so lonely. Both of them finding joy with each other through their e-mails.
As I said these series have been so he

Hands down, favourite of the series. I didn’t think I could love any couple more than Aidan and Harley, but Jace and Lettie have taken them on and won! I thoroughly enjoyed Riptide and couldn’t wait for this one to come out so I knew I was in for something great.
I love how Jace’s character developed and really enjoyed watching the two fight their attraction.
Again, Jordan gave us a little suspense/thrill and I LOVED that part of their story.
LOVED, LOVED, LOVED and highly recommended.

The awkward bookworm and the bad boy, he's not really bad just feeling rejected and mixing with the wrong crowd. These two have been emailing anonymously for some time, fate puts them in the same town. I didn't think these two would become my new fave couple in this series. Well done to the author for grabbing me and not letting me go. I read this book off and on all gets in the way. The last didn't see that coming, what an exciting finish. I love this series and highly ...more

I was privileged enough to receive an advanced reader copy of this book from the author for a voluntary and honest review.
Wow, what a fabulous, well written story this is, the storyline kept me intrigued; its full of action and caught my interest from the beginning. I wanted to know what would happen next. All characters are three-dimensional and believable. The storyline is intense, it's gripping in the best sense of the word. A powerful book that was hard to put down.

Wasn’t disappointed at all when I read this book...

****Throwing a bunch of spoilers around in this review****

Well I did get what I wanted... finding out if Hayes going to walk again... ugh that’s a no... but I just he and Jace can become friends again... I mean clearly, Hayes mom hate Jace... but she also has to realize that the other two guys drag both Hayes and Jace to go and graffiti that man house... plus Hayes could’ve told Jace he didn’t want to jump

And here it is! Wipe Out is the fourth book in the Ryder Bay series, and it is the one that ticked all my boxes. It doesn't matter which series of Jordan Ford's I am reading, there is always one that shines just that little bit more for me. In this series, it's this one!! Now, don't get me wrong. I have thoroughly enjoyed ALL of the other books, but this one though... Sheer perfection!

We first met Jace, also known as Bass, and Lettie (Snap Dragon) in Riptide, which is part of the Boys of Summer

The continued story of Ryder Bay is great!

Wipe Out stars Jace, a reckless young man who does anything for a thrill, and Lettie, a shy bookworm who cannot put thoughts into words at times, especially when she is around hot guys.

Jace wants to know how he can find "the ultimate thrill" and is given an email address. He sends his inquiry to the email address, and soon finds out that there was a mistake, but a good one. "Bass" aka Jace emails "Snapdragon" and they soon get to know each other very wel

I absolutely adored this story!! It's soooo cute and adorable. I just loved Lettie and Jace. We met Lettie in Savannah's book in Ryder Bay and it was great getting to know her better and see what some of her struggles are in life and with her sister. We met Jace in the little prequel novella, Riptide. I loved getting to see their emails start in that story and I would recommend reading it before this one, as you just get so much out of it in regards to the characters, but this story can be read ...more

Lettie is fourteen years old, shy, somewhat socially awkward, and sometimes a little bit of a clutz. Jace just sees a beautiful girl, and someone he wants to spend more time with, but there is another girl. He also doesn't know if he deserves to be with anyone, or to be happy for that matter, with his past weighing heavily on his conscience.

I loved these sweet, and sometimes conflicted characters. Lettie is still devastated by the loss of her mother, and Jace has his mom's threat of military sch

I was very excited to read Wipe our after reading the prequel novella. I was fortunate enough to get an ARC of this book. This was such a sweet story. Poor Lettie is just starting high school and her best friend throws her for a loop. Jace moved across the country after getting into trouble and he’s starting his life over. My heart just broke for Jace because it was like he just couldn’t do anything right. These two found solace through each other with their emails. Then Jordan ford drops a bomb ...more

I really enjoyed Lettie and Jace’s story. It is about opposites attracting, first loves, and finding one’s self. I love how they each bring out the best in each other and can really talk about everything in their lives. I love the mystery of who Snapdragon and Bass are, and how the reveal happens. I thought this story was the perfect continuation of the novella. My only issue is with not being able to see Jade really reconnect with his mother and meet his new sibling. Of course, there will be on ...more

Wipe Out (Ryder Bay #4) is a tale that
began with a sneak peek novella Riptide that will whet your appetite.
A ya contemporary romance with character's that are compelling with engaging characteristics. I love the secrecy of Snapdragon, the bookworm and Bass a thrill seeker. Jace and Lettie are my favourite couple in this series. I love that this relationship and romance takes a nonpareil approach of falling in love. I love the cameo appearances of the other characters from the previous books. T

Lettie is hiding in her room and in her books where she feels comfortable. At school she is been ditched by her best friend because she is boring. The only thing that bring her joy are Bass’s emails. Jace is now living in Ryder Bay and trying to adjust to a new school and new friends, but the only true thing in his life are Snap dragon’s email. When Jace and Lettie meet by accident they feel an instinct connection but they so different and besides they have their own email best friend. But life ...more

So I joined snapdragon and bass in riptide and loved the connection between the two. To be able to join them and see how their bond develops and grows in this new book is amazing. The way he brings her out of her box and helps her see she can be brave is beautifully written. With that the way they save each other both metaphorically and literally just helps to prove that the bad boy can redeem himself when he feels all is lost with those around him

Lettie and Jace are my favorite couple of the Ryder Bay series! Their story was unique, and I loved the special moments between them, both in person and as email buddies. I enjoyed every minute of Wipe Out and loved that Jordan Ford added a shocking twist that I didn't see coming. Wipe Out was an amazing story!

I voluntarily read and reviewed a complimentary Advance Reader Copy.

Wipe Out is by far my favorite book in this series!! I love everything about Lettie and Jace’s story. It has some suspense, and sweet romance. A sweet romance with a bit of a mystery

Jordan Ford knows how to give you the feels. I just devoured this book just like all the others in this series so good. This story focus on Savannah's younger sister Letti and her secret e-mail friend Bass. Things get complicated when two new boys move to town Jace and Reed. One of them is Bass and one of them is not quite right in the head. Will Lottie figure it out before its to late

The Ryder Bay series continues in this story about Jace and Scarlett, aka Bass and Lettie. If you read the Boys of Summer Riptide novela you got a preview into this one.

When Jace makes one bad decision too many, he is shipped across the country to live with his mom’s cousin until he can learn to straighten up. At his new school, Jace finds some kids he fits with, until lunch, when he is busted for having a vape pen that’s not even his. Not wanting to become a nark on his first day, he takes the

Aside from a few moments where I wanted to shake Jace, I think this book was a great finale to the series even if it did not completely close out some issues. However, knowing there is a pending novella to address those open issues means that we get to see all of the unlikely couples again for some much needed vindication.

I loved seeing Jace work so hard to not get into trouble, but still managing to find himself in tough situations anyway. I felt bad for him because many did not know his situa

Full of teen angst and regret - bittersweet and heart-warming

After reading the novella from Boys of Summer series it was a must read for me. In the prequel I fell in love with very lost Jace and adorable Lettie, and I couldn't wait to read his full-length story.
And I'm not disappointed at all. This book was what I was looking for and so much more. True page-turner. I couldn't put it down and when the plot was bringing more and more intriguing events I was simply not able to stop reading.

After causing some trouble in his city, Jace's mother decides to send him to her cousin's house in Ryder Bay. Already on the first day of school he gets into trouble and his only escape is the conversations with his Snap Dragon.
After her mother's death, Lettie keeps her nose in a book and her thoughts to herself, but when her best friend dumped her on the first day of their freshman year, she finds comfort in her conversations with Bass.

Sweet, vulnerable Jace is perfect

These two were adorable together. I loved the slow development of There friendship and relationship. We both struggling with feeling for their "one pal". I loved seeing the growth and development in Jace and his struggles along the way in trying to find his place. Letting Lettie see his vulnerable side was a big change for him. The friendships he made in Ryder Bay helped make him a better person. Their were twists i didn't see coming which was awesome and really

When we last read about Jace, some pretty heavy stuff went down and a friend got injured badly. With his parents sending him to live with his aunt, he knows that he has to put the past behind him in order to have a future. Kettle hides behind her books and her online friends. But what Jace doesn't know is that she's been there for him when he was at his worst. This book was amazing I hope we get more of Lettie and Jace in the future.
