So, Author Tracey Jerald has quickly become a go-to author of emotional reads for me, as I finish one book I'm counting down to getting my hands on her next. I know I should prepare myself for the emotional ride and guaranteed tears, I've learned with each new book that this WILL happen.
But inside the pages of Easy Reunion I felt so emotionally connected to the female character Kelsey, I shed tears of connection, tears of shared experiences, heartbreak of a childhood bullied and everything that

I really enjoyed Kelsey and Ry's story. My heart went out to both of them for what they had to endure at such a young age. Kelsey was a heroine you'd want to be friends with because she loved hard. Ry was so compassionate I really wanted to hug him. This was a great story and tackled a few heavy topics but managed to be a very entertaining read!

If you want a book that is going to stay with you for a while then this is the book for you.
Yes it deals with a real and current situation that happens daily...Bullying
But the way Tracey wrote this story it grips and rips your heart out.

*"It's a lot easier to read someone else's words and relate to them than to write your own."*

This was a beautiful and insightful tale that explores a real and current issue: Bullying. It explores the lasting effects it can have on a person and the scars it leaves behind, both visible and invisible. Kelsey has experienced her fair share of bullying and she continues to carry that past with her. But she uses her pain to create something magical. Words can cause pain but they can also be used to

Im actually new to the series this spins off from. But that didnt stop me from enjoying this book and its characters. If anything it makes me want to read the original series because those characters sound like a hoot! Ok back to Ry and Kelsey. I wanted to hug Kelsey for the hurt and pain she went thru for years due to the cruelty of other people but also how she rose up and in the end was able to find a happy ending with someone she loved

Kelsey has decided to finally go to one of her high school reunions to face those who made her life a living hell especially Ry who she always had her back until her last day at school on graduation day. She has made drastic changes in her life but they were for her not the bullies and done so with the help and support of her crazy but amazing best friend Angel. Ry has been haunted by what he did all those years ago and now is his chance to make things right but good lord that guy has a bad case ...more

This book was so relatable... had me really thinking.
Kelsey and Ryan were meant to be... but life happens and childhood insecurities get in the way.
Kelsey had a hard childhood... growing up on the larget side and battlung her weight. As a result she had a vad school experience and this in turn affected her self esteem and future.
But as a writer... Kelsey was able to create a fiction world where she could find a way to heal and deal with her issues.
This gave her perspective and helped her

Easy Reunion is part of the new Boudreaux World from Kristen Probys best selling Boudreaux series! Being one of my all time favourites Ive been so excited to read these new crossover books! I was not disappointed!

Kelsey had a horrendous time in high school, being the butt of everyones jokes, the daily target for the bullies that tormented her every day. The only thing that kept her going was Rierson. She knew he looked out for her, tried to keep the bullies at bay. She thought they were

Once again Tracey leaves me speechless with one of her stories. This story hits home and pulls at your heartstrings. She never hesitates to write about those topics a lot of people just want to hide from. Bullying is a huge issue in this world, I have seen first hand what it has done to people. Ry and Kelsey's characters have such amazing strength that pulls them through so many obstacles. The way Ry and Kelsey are determined to heal each other melts my heart. You go through all the feels. High School Reunion's can be fun or they can be devastating. Kelsey has returned to the scene of the crime as it were. Those around her in high school were cruel to the point of physical violence. She only came back because her best friend in the world thinks it will help her move on and let go.

Rierson AKA "Ry" was always the best looking in school. He was the only defender of her honor. Until the Graduation Day when he didn't. The biggest reason she never returned until now. When they see one

Easy Reunion is a second chance romance based on Kristen Probys Boudreaux Novels . The book is full of angst and romance, while the author takes you on a roller coaster ride full of emotions. Easy Reunion is based on a serious topic of bullying but the author lays out the book nicely. The story flows easily and the characters are well rounded, making it a must read.

Tracey Jerald is well known for her beautiful and emotional reads and this book does not disappoint. As a curvy girl, Easy Reunion

I have a huge problem, when it comes to writing a review for a book that has moved me in ways that are hard to fathom. As I have sat here contemplating on where to start, and what to start with, I have come to realize that this author writes in such a unique way, that she can not be matched. She tackles the most profound topics that could decimate a society, but she does it with so much heart and vulnerability that people can easily resonate with. As with most of Tracey Jerald 's books. Kelsey writes novels about a girl who gets bullied that are hugely popular. There do good because they come from her past experience. She goes back for her fifteen year anniversary and sees Rierson who was her friend until he wasnt. Kelsey moves to New Orleans to be closer to her best friend. Rierson sees her and tries to apologize for his behavior. Can she give him a chance so he can explain why? Great characters and storyline. Highly recommended. Absolutely love this book I can totally relate ...more

Easy Reunion is another roller coaster ride of emotions! Kelsey and Riersons journey was extremely heartbreaking but to witness such tremendous strength they each had was so inspiring. Everything that Kelsey had endured would have broken so many people, but with her own inner strength and an amazing support system she was able to move on. It was this inner strength that forced her to get on the plane to face her torturous past, but things didn't go quite as planned.

Bullies come in all shapes and sizes as well as the people that are bullied. This story is about a love that saw beyond the outside and into the heat and soul of the other person. Fate also loves to play cruel games with the pure of heart, in this story even the beautiful and popular are bullied.
A second chance at redemption and love. Kelsey and Ry are the personification of loving beyond the cover, making this a book that is more beautiful than the words written on the pages.

Easy Reunion is centered around a very sensitive topic, bullying. While its a heavy subject, Tracey did a fantastic job weaving it into this love story. Kelsey and Rierson have liked each other since high school but bullying ripped them apart and kept them apart for 15 years. They both have demons to face and figure out before they can be happy together and with themselves. I love that this story takes place in another authors book world. Easy Reunion takes place Kristen Probys Boudreaux ...more

I was just blown away by Easy Reunion, a story that deals with so many different emotions that I was astonished with the depth of my feelings when I finished. Entangled with a story of second chance love is the heartbreaking account of a life that had been to depth of misery only to claim a life of happiness. While this book may be difficult for some to read, it will give many a positive experience and hopeful outlook. 4 Stars #2OCCMS

We've seen the influx of bullying books. A focus brought out by the revelations of years of terror imposed on kids who felt helpless and hopeless. The lashing out has been in the headlines time after time. So what you may ask makes this book standout any differently. It's the author. Trust me. This author doesn't just talk about the abuse these two are recovering from she brings us into their lives in a way that makes the impact of the actions against them all the more visceral. Who says the ...more

Easy Reunion is a book that will stay with me for a long time. That is something I dont say lightly, as I usually read a book, enjoy it, and move on to the next. But this book? This book was different. It is a book that I can relate to. It really resonated with me. It is real, raw and definitely struck a chord deep inside me. To cause me to have this kind of visceral reaction? A sure sign of a great book. A beautifully written story of heartbreak, redemption, pain and love. To say I loved it ...more

Talk about an emotional hangover. Tracey Jerald knows how to pull at your heartstrings, leave you raw and your soul beaten beyond repair. I feel like I've been hit with a Mac Truck. This book packs a whollop. I don't think I was really ready for this one. Here I was thinking that it was only Kelsey that was at the hand of Bullies, but how wrong was I. Easy Reunion by Tracey Jerald is a stand-alone Boudreaux Universe Novel.
Meet Kelsey Kennedy. She's back for a high school reunion. As child an outsider, the weird overweight nerd.
And her crush Pierson Perrault who shattered her teenage heart.
While she immediatedly recognizes him, he has no clue with whom he just spent the night - bawhahaha, inserts evil laugh - .

I couldnt put this book down! As titled, of course its about attending your high school reunion. But never assume that with Tracey! This was a raw, awe inspiring novel about moving through lifes obstacles to ultimately become a better person. The book follows the story of ry and Kelsey and Ive never highlighted as much in a book as I have here. The words are inspiring. The anger, resentment and ultimately, forgiveness is epic. Just when you have the book figured out- it pushes you harder and in ...more

I keep putting off writing this review because this book gutted me and I had to work to get myself out of the depression I felt when it was over. Heres the thing, its a great book. But its so deeply personal that it brought up A LOT of memories I didnt enjoy revisiting. High school was miserable for me at times. Being called the hairy scary wildebeest that no one wanted to ever sleep with, having meat thrown at my face, rumors spread about me, etc. It was terrible.

I feel so conflicted after reading this one. I wasnt sure what to feel of the whole thing. It wasnt bad, it was good but not entirely good. Theres a part I wasnt satisfied with, and some of the dialogues can be hard to understand.

The story focus more on the topic of bullying and how to overcome it. It was the hardest topic for me hence the reason why I had a very hard time trying to finish this book because I couldnt stop crying. The bullying part just gets to me, because I understood how Kelsey

This was my first read from this author and I'm extremely impressed with her level of writing. She tackled some very current and emotional issues of bullying in schools and she does it in such a brilliant and realistic way. I honestly felt every emotion that was portrayed from her characters. I shed some tears and I honestly have some Goosebumps still left over from it.

They say that high school is supposed to be the best years of your life but for some it is the worst. Kelsey Kennedy suffered

For anyone, and I mean ANYONE who has ever felt ashamed, unloved, unlovable or like they weren't enough this story will root itself into your heart and soul and stay there always. I felt an immediate personal connection to Kelsey and didn't leave her side the entire way along her journey. This is the first book that I have read by Tracey Jerald, and after reading Easy Reunion, I am definitely going back to check out her backlist of books! I will say that what drew me to this was its connection to Kristen Proby's Boudreaux series, but it shone through on its own merits.

After losing more than 200 pounds, Kelsey makes the decision to go back to her 15th high school reunion to show her former classmates her transformation. She endured taunting and teasing and bullying throughout high
