With plans to bulldoze a mansion belonging to a hero of the American Revolution, he doesn't hesitate in making brash advances on a member of the local historical society trying to save the house. Tabatha Lane isn't a woman lured by wealth and handsome looks, especially if the man has no caring in his heart. Whittle House is more than just a house filled with antiques. It holds the spirits of a courageous man-wolf and the woman who loved him. Like the Patriot who owned it, Whittle House will not go down without a fight!
Silver Cuffs by Hill was the best. It was predictable, but it was a nice story of redemption, faith and love. 4 stars
Shadow-Time Lover by Casteel was bad. I didn't care for the writing style and I didn't like the heroine. 2.5 stars
A Matter of Duty by Jewell was strange. It's a sequel to a story that seems to no longer be published, but the author gave enough of a background story so I wasn't too lost. The characters seemed genuine and I could empathize with the heroine. I don't know what I would do if I were in her shoes, but it was handled well, I guess. It was weird. 3.5 stars
I read this book some time ago. one of the stories was alright(a tad ridiculous, but not too bad). However the others were just not appealing to me. I read the book all the way through, but as I was reading, i kept thinking,"What the actual f*#k is this?"
