I signed up to review this novel as part of the author’s blog tour. I have thoroughly enjoyed all of White’s novels and this new one is no exception.

In fact, I would say this is my favourite. This novel lives up to its description of being a character-driven story. You will become endeared to Alyra due to the plight she been forced into from birth. For those readers who enjoy strong female main characters, you will love Alyra. While the story itself is intriguing and kept me reading, I will admit that it felt as though the story was lacking in some way—which is why I could only give it a three-star rating. The characters are memorable and the book i

This is a beautiful story of someone who is marked for life as a thief and how she overcomes. A beautiful girl who has to fight off bearing that mark and the love and compassion deep inside of her for others. I highly recommend this book.
