Being born and raised in southern Louisiana, the culture of voodoo is something I’ve heard about since I was a child, but never really paid much attention to the idea. Since moving away from Cajun country, I wasn’t quite expecting to ever hear about it again. Then I got a chance to read At The Crossroads, and was quickly drawn into the possibilities of that world.

I reviewed Book 1 in November of 2017, and I’ve been waiting for Book 2 ever since. I read it, and it was worth the wait!

At The Crossroads picks up with Rodney who’s overcome stage fright, and he now belongs to a band. The only problem . . . he has one week to learn the hardest song ever. If he fails, his former best friend takes his spot. I didn’t stop reading till the very end. I had to know if Rodney took the easy hoodoo path or not. And now – I’m dying to read Book 3 to find out how Rodney’s
