Reading books by academics always reminds me of how little they know in comparison to those actually doing the roles. I had a similar feeling reading this. I found it useful enough as an overview and it had enough useful tips to get a 3/5. However, it is those working in companies who are coming up with the solutions and re-writing the rules. Those in academia simply do a good job of recording it.
