This book is part memoir, part entrepreneurial best practices. It follows the story of the author’s first business venture. The story is broken into 33 pages, with each page accompanied by a summary of the lesson contained within.

I’ll be honest, when I first started reading this book, I wasn’t that into it; it has a lot of empty pages so that it’s 4 times more pages than actual author content. I wasn’t that into the side quotes (each of the author’s pages is accompanied by a page with a quote fr

A neat, succinct, and detailed motivational guide for anyone who dreams of entrepreneurship. Chavis’s prose and heavy use of inspirational quotes makes the book a quick read. What makes it specific is that Chavis distills the story of his own rocky road to success in creating and marketing a product, while at the same time facing the challenges of being in a foreign country, hard at work as a US Peace Corps Volunteer. I read the book as an at-the-beginning Peace Corps Volunteer curious about what Mr. Chavis learned and did as a PCV in Peru that would test and teach and fire him up to write an inspirational guide that others might use in creating and carrying out a business or product idea.

This book is not a school-like entrepreneur's business guide. It is more about one's inner and outer approach to goals and problem solving. In this 157-page book he distills the core story itself into 33 pages, each one pref
