After reading this book I feel that I could write the U.S.A. citizen test. But by that time the country will be gone. This is what the Golden Age of Freedom was about. How it came to be and the mechanics of the ideal state. I learned a great deal of history and fun facts about the Founding Fathers. There is no question that the American Revolution created the ultimate template for a stable society. Ned Ryun has spelled out the intent and the eloquence of the greatest political document in the world in just enough technical detail to make you wish it was reality. However, the Republic is now collapsing in the orgy of “progressive” ideology.
I agree with most his manifesto, delivered in the last ten pages, but he has spent too little ink on it. The main portion (99%) is spent on an easy to understand American Civics class. Unfortunately, I must look to other sources to answer the question “how do we restore the Republic”. Therefore, I am left with a sense of loss, not of hope for the future. Three stars for worthwhile education and readability but only one star for his last chapter prescription on Restoring Our Republic.
