*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

Welcome to the 1920's with this delightful cozy mystery. We follow Cornelia as she travels with her elderly Uncle and a friend of hers Teddy. On leave as an army nurse she is looking forward to the fancy hotel they will be staying in and she is not disappointed. Things are going great until they run into an ex-fiance of Teddy's which causes her to make a scene. This would not be an issue if the same man

4.5/5

Murder at the Million Dollar Pier was an enjoyable and entertaining read. I really liked Corny, teddy and Percy's characterisation. The mystery and suspense are well maintained throughout the story. The red herrings are sure to direct one on the wrong path. :D The ending is good and the identity of the killer is unexpected.
If you like historical cozies, I recommend you to read this book.

It's 1926 and Saint Petersburg, Florida, is booming with new homes, new restaurants, new resorts and a million dollar pier. In Murder at the Million Dollar Pier by Gwen Mayo and Sarah E. Glenn, Cornelia Pettijohn and her uncle Percival are joined by Teddy Lawless on a visit to the Sunshine State. Then Teddy meets her ex-fiance and thirty years of pent up animosity leads to a hard slap across his face. When he winds up dead, Teddy is the logical suspect. The adventures of the Three Snowbirds is ...more

Good mystery!

I really enjoyed reading this mystery. The story was engaging and had interesting characters. The identity of the killer came as a complete surprise to me. I look forward to reading other books in the series. I highly recommend this book to other mystery readers.

Great Cozy Mystery

Authors Mayo and Glen pen a fun and amusing story in Murder at the Million Dollar Pier. I haven't read anything from these authors before, and I really enjoyed this story. The characters were developed and very interesting. This story really brings the stories to life. The pace of the story was perfect for this type of story. I enjoy cozy mysteries, and this one was not only unique, but full of fun and yet, thrilling. It takes place in the 1920's, and gives life to a time gone

Boundless Book Reviews
I loved that this book began right where Book 1 left off. I got the feeling as I read that, I was on this "vacation" with them. The trio that includes Percival and his two "nieces," Cornelia and Teddy, are on the move again, and once again, trouble seems to follow.

I was sucked into this story a bit more than book 1. While I enjoyed the first book, I found it a bit slow. This one, maybe since I know the characters now, grabbed me immediately. It is written well. I love this trio. They are so fun
