Fascinating glimpse into this era of Mormon history, including the practice of post-manifesto polygamy.

This book is about Rudger Clawson, an apostle and member of the First Presidency of the LDS church.

I had never heard of this guy before until I happened to run into some old pictures of Church General Authorities and saw this guy in many of the pictures moving up the ranks.

He was a financial expert (at the turn of the century) who saved Brigham City and the building of the Tabernacle there, among other things.
