Although the WINTER WISHES anthology releases in October, I thought it could prove refreshing to read Holiday stories when it's so hot outside. I'm reading as time permits, and as it appears the novellas are not interconnected, I'm reading all out of sequence.

A lovely selection of stories written by some well loved authors.
One Room at the Inn by Cheryl Bolen
This was an enjoyable read. I liked the characters, Charlotte was trying to be the best mother to her two children, Susan and Eddie. I did chuckle at some of Eddie’s antics. Philip Fenton is an honourable man who tries to do the best for the family. A snow storm means they have to stay at the inn for a few days. They get to know each other much better in all sorts of ways!

So I started this anthology with the intention of just reading a few of the offerings and writing my review based on those – I read Lana Williams, Collette Cameron & Bronwen Evans and I am hooked!
Unfortunately, I don’t have time to read all 13 novellas and review them by release day – so I am going to post this and then revisit it later this year when my reading schedule thins and I can do justice to this collection.

Winter Wishes A Regency Holiday Romance Anthology Box Set has over 800 pages and 12 different stories by different authors. I am crazy about this set because it has all my favorite authors in addition to the Christmas feel good stories. Box sets are great when looking for new authors or for just reconnecting with your favorite authors. Of course Christmas theme romances just warm the heart. I highly recommend this set.

To get 13 stores for this low price is a real bargain, for them to be good stories by good authors is a wonderful steal. These stories will remind you of Christmas Love and Hope. I did not read all the stories so far, but I will tell you about the few I did read.

Love this regency short story. It is hilarious and adventurous. Maddie has such a huge and loving heart but she is indeed upfront & feisty, love that. She challenges him and quickly has him entangled. They are perfect for one another, I thoroughly enjoyed their story and I am glad they got a chance to rekindle their friendship because they are perfect for one another. Because I read a lot, I often find myself in the situation where I've read everything my favourite author has published to date. And then I have to try and find a new author, which can be hard. Collection of stories like this are a fantastic way to read authors you haven't come across before. This books reunited me with a few of authors I already loved and introduced me to a whole lot more.

Entertaining and fun collection of novellas, with engaging characters and varying storylines. Easy to read straight through or simply one at a time. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend this collection of stories by experienced authors to all historical romance fans. The stories are not inter-related, but some connect with one of the author's series (e.g. Collette Cameron's contribution). I've read other stories by all of the authors; the quality and style is consistent with their other works. At a preorder price of 99cents for the ebook, it is a bargain.

Let me tell you that it was really difficult to decide which to read first but then I decided that it really didn't matter and plunged in....
These are short and sweet romances that build up nicely and end with a happily-ever-after and I loved each and every one!
I am not going to attempt to choose a favorite here - let some other brave soul try to do that, but I would like to recommend this anthology as a pre Christmas treat ...more

This Christmas anthology put me in the holiday spirit. All of the historical romances are filled with characters that draw you in, and take you on a romantic ride filled with hope and love. The authors make the settings come alive through descriptions that make you feel the wintry weather in the stories. I would recommend this to anyone who loves a good historical romance, or looking for a new author. I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from NetGalley and am voluntarily reviewing it.
I love Christmas romances, they're probably one of my favourite things and I loved most of these stories. They may not have all appealed to me but there were a few good enough in there to make up for the not so good ones. I'd definitely recommend this book, especially for anyone who is an absolute ducker for a Christmas romance. 3 stars. I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
